Beatiful contribution everyone!
Tonight I was in the mood for the Dexy’s.
Story behind…
I have several singles and LP’s of DMR.
When I was for the first time in England in 82, brought back a lot of punk and soul vinyl, because I spend more time in London than in Brighton, I was supposed to be .‘Searching for the young soul rebels’ became a long time friend, because of its Stax recommendation marked in blue.

Tracked down some of these Stax singles over the years and love them.

@steelydan - that jazz trio is Carter, Jones and Williams?
-
@GraemeE , yes ... Awesome bass , definitely demo quality.
-
@steelydan I've seen a handful of east wind stuff over the years but never owned any.
Their pressings are supposedly pretty high end?
-
@GraemeE , oh yes , for Japanese pressing , east wind n three blind mice are great audiophile favourite .. mostly direct cut ..

@GraemeE ,that 25 o'clock cover remind me of earlier Cream works , so psychedelic.
-
@steelydan absolutely agree
-
Yesterday this was 40 years old!!!! Blue Monday is still the best 12" ever IMO. It made a loss when released - the cover with it's diecut and having an inlay cost more to produce then they made on selling the record, hence future releases went to a normal cover and no inlay.

Got this on Saturday
