When would I wear a cpo vs a type 3? Is it just preference?
Love the look of of the 293 but I also had been planning to pickup a 526L if they are in stock this year. Just don’t want to essential have 2 similar pieces that I would end up just having one or the other sit

@iammortalcombat Aesthetic preference, yes

@Alex thanks! That helps me plan some future items

Hello all, I am looking to get my first pair of Iron Hearts, specifically the UHR. I am trying to find a fit similar to the 2009 sugar cane cut (slightly slim/ straight). From what I've seen the 666 or the 634 are the closest, in the photos I've seen the 634 can be tight or loose depending on the person, and the 666 can be slim or super skinny depending on the person in the photos I've seen. I am 6,3 and slim to medium build. What should I go with?
-
@MatteRush @MatteRush I have moved your question to the relevant thread we have for this sort of question. I am not familiar with the Sugar Cane 2009 cut. Can I suggest you measure your pair like we do (https://www.ironheart.co.uk/content/how-we-measure/) then let us know what measurements you get, that way it would be easy to compare them with our jeans.
-
@MatteRush - i would definitely go with 666. i have sugar canes 2014 which are almost identical cut to 2009 and they are almost identical to 666 in the way they fit. if you check the measurements you will find it almost identical. Comparing SC2014 to 634 (in let's say 33 inch waist) you'll find thigh 3cm wider in 634 and 2 cm difference in knee.

Looking for feedback from anyone who has owned both SBG and 14oz BB. Besides fabric weight, how do these two compare? How would you contrast the fading and wear experience over time?
-
21oz SBG: fades quicker, need to take a bit more care when washing to avoid marbling. Higher contrast overall due to the reactive/sulphur dyed techniques in play.
14ozbb: does not fade as quickly, gets softer quicker and in my opinion more comfortable quickly. The fade contrast is not as stark as the SBG
There are extensive fade examples of both denims on the respective threads so you can see how they're going to fade.
SBG is restocking in approx 6 months time, more than worth the wait IMO

Thanks a lot @AdamJ! Super helpful.

@tody I believe you are correct. This is the board's rank/progression list.
Raw and Unwashed - 0
The Unwoven - 5
Haraki-san Student - 20
Haraki-san Prodigy - 100
Haraki-san Expert - 250
Iron Heart Deity - 500
啓蒙家 - 1000
見習いボス - 2500Each block corresponds to one rank, ex. Haraki-san Student would equal 3 blocks under your name and Deity would be 6.

@nickname
They're here! Jeez this is stiff and heavy.
Will I break them (in) or will they break me ?Fit is perfect I would say, a bit tight on the waist, but hey, good reason to loose a bit more weight.
Now to soak or not? Will it soften up if soaked? I've read that the soak of sanforized and one washed denim is not mandatory, but some people still prefer to do it as far as I can tell?

Got the 888S-21, thanks.
