Tattoos

Love seeing an active tattoo thread! Lost my job in NY peak-COVID and used the time/depression as an excuse to get tattooed a couple times a week waiting for my apartment lease to be over and move back to the west coast. Here are a few of my favorites...

@october-rust those are sick...the devil in the ball is killer.

Thanks fellas! Yeah always wish the reaper was somewhere besides my shoulder because I like it so much but never see it hah

@Matt Hah! My arms are completely done, and I'm deciding if I go chest or back next. I've heard a few times that sternum is the most painful spot to get tattooed, so most of me thinks I should just bite the bullet and get it over with.

I have the full upper body done minus the strip down the middle of my chest and the armpits. My tattooist and I had long conversations about the armpits…he said they are a pain in the ass to tattoo, hurts like hell, and doesn’t take ink that well.
I passed but always wondered just how bad it was from someone who’s had it done.

It's actually intended to be a mirror. Design is a Polito original, with the idea that you're looking at your reflection and realizing that you're evil. I have a version done by Akira Latanzio a few years ago.

Not sure how I just came across this thread, but I've been collecting for close to 20 years now. The upside to being almost completely covered is that over the last several months I've been able to justify becoming completely unemployable.

@Matt I feel like my pain threshold isn't too bad? You're right, maybe it's just a person to person thing. The only spot I've found to be miserable was the weird fleshy part of my underarm arm near the armpits. Elbows and ditches weren't very fun at all but weren't as bad as I anticipated.
That's awesome @jskidder, one of my favorite tattoo designs but I admittedly didn't know the meaning.
