IRON CAST by Iron Heart International

I love this show! It really helped me to understand Iron Heart more. Especially the episodes with Paula @Madame Buttonfly, @Giles and @Alex were the ones I came back to over the months.
How about season 3??
Thank you @Karol - it's great to hear that you've enjoyed IRON CAST and feel you know the brand (and hopefully all of us) better for it. I was nervous to do the recording, but Olly plied me with rosé wine which helped a lot

I do remember some refills at the beginning!
It was a fantastic episode; I loved every bit of it. Especially the boating part, I will admit it is also my idea for retirement with slight modification – I think about going sailboat. I wish You guys all the best on this journey and will keep a close eye on it to inform my own concept.
Last night I revisited one episode that I forgot to mention as my favorite and that was the last episode from season 1 – meet the Iron Heart crew. As always awesome moderation by @Olly. Since then, there are new people joining the team, it feels like a no brainer to have a follow up episode like this in season 3.
I'm also really hoping for Haraki, Tom, and who knows the likes of MR. Heavy Nell and Heavy Ounce being interviewed to bring these two worlds closer together. And here I mean a deep dive sort of thing, not some generic short form. I am quite sure that even if some of their insights go over my head it is worth it to have it documented for posterity. -

We had a lot of fun designing then launching the eps, and let’s hope we can make S3 happen soon. All the best, Olly

Crazy. I didn’t even know about these. Looking forward to checking them out!

@Olly Came looking for this thread because I found myself craving new episodes! Glad to hear that it may happen. Side note, you're a rad Instagram follow. Congrats on all that's going on in your life, seems like a lot to celebrate!

@Alex that's awesome. Looking forward

Excellent!! Looking forward to more content.

Looking forward to the new episodes, and I echo @Karol that in depth interviews with the Japanese crew would rock. I’d love to hear more nitty gritty about how the magic happens.
-
@Giles the videos would be even better!!
My biggest worry is not to water down those thinking that it’s necessary to make the content “approachable”. It’s the nitty gritty that is most interesting, exactly like @Weft-4-Dead mentioned.
Majority of interviews with musicians are crap because it’s generic. And the reason is that they don’t really talk about music because interviewer does not have knowledge of the topic (zero understanding of musical form, zero knowledge of notation, harmony, rhythm, etc.).
I will always be a harsh critic of music critics because they strike me as a bunch of uneducated fools attempting to report on some French political campaign without bothering to learn the French language. What could one write in such a situation? "The candidate started off softly, building to a climax, whipping the crowd into a frenzy by the end." That tells me nothing of the content of the speech. That is exactly how most music criticism sounds to me – illiterate fools talking about the style of a speech in a language they don't understand, incapable of grasping the slightest notion of the content because they don't speak the fucking language.
