IH-888-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
@Walery-Smirnoff how much room do you have in the waist?
-
On the belt they are just right. Smaller size 36 in the belt will be small. As I understand it, 888 fit has a tapered belt and expands to the hips.
-
25 oz is still very hard. Like cardboard. Jeans new
-
They look a bit to big indeed! I agree with @T4920 that a soak won’t get the fit you’re looking for. Also when the denin relaxes and stretches it get’s even bigger. Soak-wise the XHS denim is suggested to be soaked before wearing. To get most shrinkage out so you won’t have any fade shifting etc.
-
@Walery-Smirnoff if they're fine in the waist, but you're unhappy with the fit in the top block, maybe dry a different cut? Classic 634 or 666 might suit your body type better?
-
Yes, the trouble is that there is no choice yet, for certain reasons. There is a size 36, but it will definitely be small in the waist. There are 666 more fit to choose from. But there is an average landing. And I don't like it when you fall out of your pants when you squat.)))

Can i wash them in the washing machine?
-
@Walery-Smirnoff Yes - here is the part from our care guidelines that is relevant:
Extra Heavy Selvedge (XHS) 25oz Denim
(25oz should be soaked washed before wearing)• Turn garment inside-out.
• Hand wash, or machine wash on a relatively short cycle (max 40°C/100°F) with low or no spin.
• Shake/stretch item to ensure no creases before drip drying or drying flat on a clothes rack.
• Do not tumble dry (this is likely to cause shrinkage and white marks). -
thanks for the help

Good afternoon. Will soaking make the fabric softer? I understand the starch will be washed out of the fabric?
-
@Walery-Smirnoff soaking will make it a little softer, at least.. if you wanna XHS call soft some indigo and starch will come of and make it a little softer for example. Overall the XHS is a beast and takes some time and a lot of wear to beat.
-
I still have a slight panic))) Jeans stick out with a stake and I feel like a firefighter in a fire in them) At least hit them with a rolling pin
-
my size was neither 21 oz nor lighter.

I soaked mine once and I don't think they got any softer. Became softer after 2 months of wearing 5 days a week.
-
It's scary like that))

Forum users tell me please, will soaking help? The new 888s in the top block are too loose. Both sides and front. You can see it in the photo above.
After soaking, the upper block will sit down a little and the landing will be slimmer
-
When I got mine, I warm soaked them and the top block tightened up a bit. But by the looks of yoirs you wouldn’t get enough shrinkage to make them fit as well as they should.
Also, if a size down feels a bit too tight in then waist, remember it will stretch out with some wear. I had to suck in my stomach the first week of wear in mine. They stretched perfectly and fit me amazing now. -
Hello everyone from Togliatti! Yesterday I soaked the monster for 3 hours) And by the way, a lot of indigo came out of this pair. Other jeans didn't give off paint like that. I put them on in the morning. As the forum member said above, the upper block has become smaller. The jeans themselves have become softer. Almost no reduction in length. Sat in the belt from 49 cm to 47 cm.

Now they need to be run in. Wear them more often, do your own business and do not pay attention to them. Natural creases will appear and they will look cool.
