I've still got my Thruxton, but I've not ridden it in ages. I was meaning to pull it out of the shed and recommission it, but I'm heading back to the UK in a week, so I'll do that when I get back. I'll probably try to sell it in September as it's not being used.
I'm tempted by the Moto Guzzi V100. It's got a shaft drive, a reasonably upright position, optional luggage, and all the latest electronics. But that will probably wait until I figure out where I'm going to be living next.

@Autorotate I think I've found my calling in the street naked style. those Guzzi's are an interesting bunch. the modern ones seem to have garnered quite some interest for fans and non fans. they definitely have that Italian flair behind their designs for sure..

They are brilliant racers. Anyone interested in attending an IOMTT race? It’d be so cool to do that with an IH-clad group.

2014 BMW R1200R with 64k km. So far, a perfect travel bike for multiday trips. Had it for the last four years and rolled 40000 very high quality and fun km on it.
Wearing a new Schuberth C5 helmet. Excellent fit for my oval head and, most importantly for me, a VERY QUIET helmet. This on an unfaired bike. Much quieter than my previous ARAI Signet.IHJ-44 - Original Heavy Cotton Herringbone "First Zip” Jacket

@louisbosco man I can relate to this discussion. Having owned GS’s, GS Adventure’s, a KTM Super Duke 1290 (so good) I have always sought a do-it-all bike and found it in a Adv style bike.
Just when I thought I’d considered them all, I saw this bike the other day and it stopped me in my tracks. Compact, unique and a livery that just is so awesome to me. I think it’s a love it or hate it. I’m swooning.I don’t know ANYTHING about Moto Guzzi, but I know it’s following is very loyal, almost cultish. Definitely has me intrigued.
I've just bought one of these (the v85 Travel, 2023 model) and can honestly say it's the duck's guts. Does a bit of everything. Good on tar, on dirt, with the panniers off it's nimble enough to commute on. Cannot speak highly enough of it (though I am a rusted on Guzzista so best taken with a grain of salt).

@natehate as requested!
Plenty more where that came from. Need to get some Ironhead shots with the iron hearts too!

My rattle can paint job and some doodles with a paint pen
-
The doodle requires a backstory: I named our cat JibJib but his nickname is Hambone, because he spends a lot of time in this position, and he’s a fat sumbish so he looks like a ham. I named the bike after this for some reason and drew his likeness on the tank for shits and gigs
