@El-Fanatico what @Kasi said

@Kasi yep! im very wabi sabi with my clothes and they just reflect everyday for me. Too much effort to do extra just to chase extreme fades. I got a few years left in me, fades come with life right

Final question while trying to figure out sizing (maybe ha), how much shrinkage do these have in them?

Compare the size chart on this jacket to the one that's OD. That will give you the absolute maximum shrink you could get, but know that home washing, even a very violent one, may not produce as much shrinkage as the OD process. Reading this thread shows maybe 50% of this about is possible if you try hard to do so.

@pechelman that's good info. Looking at the OD chart I'd say the XL in OD would be perfect.
Just measured up my superblack that feels a little snug around the shoulders/back.
Shoulders 18.5
Chest 22
Length 25
Waist 21.4
Opening 19.2 -
@jordanf XL would probably look a bit odd at first but I have no doubt if you wore in it enough it would look much better once it moulded to your body (although this monster will take years to have any sort of drape)
It depends what kind of a fit you want in the end, I personally prefer a more tailored fit and adore my slim fitting Overdyed Lefty (despite not being able do the bottom button up) whereas @Oaktavia is the king of making a more oversized fit look absolutely killer.
Do what feels right for your own personal style, but don't overthink it too much, I don't think it'd be impossible to look bad wearing this jacket

Hey gang, I need some help with sizing please. I have L for the Superblack 21oz Rider's Jacket but XL for my 16oz Slubby Type III's. Any suggestions for the 190z lefty? I was thinking go L and then hot soaking the shit out of it.... Much thanks!
I own a Slubby Type II (!) in XL myself and ordered an XL for the Lefty after taking the measurements and following thee advice given from Bailey. Maybe that helps? You can still give it a hot soak if it‘s too big.

XXL would have been massively fit.
Even if you do lukewarm for 50 minutes
Becomes a lot easier to wear. Move around in it

This is sound advice for sure. Do what you like best!

All i can say is that you’ll regret it when you don’t get a little room in the shoulder area. Better size up and soak hot to get a good fit. Lefty is a cardboard beast you wanna tame it and not the other way around
