Kasi big question: how does it feel next to the signature IH 21oz?

No where near Iron Heart 21oz
These feel like the 666 18oz
I always said the Iron Heart jeans are the heaviest compare to other brands.
The brand’s I have worn over time
Flat head, Samurai, Momotaro, PBJ’s and ONI denim..In my experience none of these brands match IH Jeans
For example samurai Jeans 24oz feel like 18oz.
Now back to the question
These feel like the very first version 18oz unsanforised denim

They was my first pair along with the beetle buster
Also have a PBJ 24oz rare Jeans too

Thanks man, I compare all denims to my IronHearts because they have set the bar IMO. I do love when other brands say their denim is “heavy or burly” [emoji23]

I think they are cheating…. Saying it heavy.

When I got the Full count Jeans, I was given a free full count t shirt to.

Resurrection time! For some reason my old 1101s felt so good today. Ridiculously soft and light as a handkerchief with lovely vertical fade. Anyone else still rocking some FC?
I haven't bought any Full Count since the arcs went. However, I have a good stock of new and used FC1101XX, FC1108XX, FC1109-21OZ, FC1101XXEX and FC1904 with arcs for when the fancy takes me so I am not fussed about the change. Alas I have only one pair of FC1109 21OZ with the red tab. Here are some of them. s as the other pairs were bought in the UK. I also have some new and used Type 1 FC2743 and Type 2 FC2812 jackets which I think are terrific.

Wish I could still fit into my 1109xx. The 15.5oz denim is remarkable.

Did someone picked up anything from the 30th anniversary items lately? I got a 30th anniversary 0105xx since they recently came available here in Europe.

Does anyone know how hot Full Count washes their one wash jeans? I would need to shrink a bit my 1103W. 2-3cm in lenght, same 2-3cm in waist and trunk and 1cm in hem would be perfect. I’m thinking about washing them first time in 60C and no spinning cycle.
-
@henrip i don’t know the exact temperature that fullcount uses but i would only advice that you first try to wash them on 40 celcius before they shrink to much. I think 60 is doable but when it shrinks to much there’s no way back. So i would do 40 first see how it works and then when it isn’t enough i would go the 60 route.. but that’s just my 2 cents..

@Heavy_blue thanks for the advice. I found this guide on the clutch cafe site which was pretty interesting.
Raw Pre-wash
Waist: 15 / Front Rise: 11.25 / Back Rise: 15.5 / Inseam: 36 / Hem: 8.25Post-Wash 40º Machine Cycle
Waist: 14 / Front Rise: 11 / Back Rise: 15 / Inseam: 34 / Hem: 8Usually people wash their clothes in 40C so I guess it would make sense if Full Count did so as well ️. Not sure if washing them again in 40C would do much . Maybe I’ll try 50C . I’ll post measurements and pics before and after I’ve washed them (maybe after two weeks or so)

Decided to play safe and try 40C first. I think they’re pretty perfect now.
Waist: 43,5cm->41,7
Rise: 30,5->30,5
Thigh: 30->28,7
Knee: 24,5->23,5
Hem: 20,7->20
Inseam: 82->79Might be that Full Count only rinses their one wash jeans in 30 degrees celcius ️

@henrip nice that they fit you quite good now! If I remember correctly i once read a article about FC that they wash them on 60 celcius. But they are one wash for sure not a rinse otherwise there should be more starch and stifness in the denim. Also did you wear them a time before washing? They stretch and when you wash them they go back to pre-wash measurements or even a little under that. My experience with one washed or sanforized denim or a combo of these 2 that a piece of cotton always shrink a bit when you wash it the first 2 or 3 times.
A lot of shrink to fit denims talk about that the denim shrinks in the first 2 or 3 washes where usually 1 wash was stated. It’s no exact math but i think it’s always a good thing brand play safe on that part and always gives you a heads up that it could shrink. That’s also why i never buy my pants ‘tight’ and hope they will stretch cause after a few washes i regret that sort of things.
