@Alex - is the 19oz in CPO getting its own dedicated thread like the type 1 and 2? If so, will we see how that sample develops over time?
-
It will do once an owner has been decided, but the denim is not new. You can see how it ages here:

@Alex
no need to look for one
here I am -
All these type I and II’s are amazing! Also the OD flannels are killing! I’ve i may add one note. I would dig a type I with a cinch and back pleats. Repro but with the overengineerd quality from IH. Type 2 without a cinch but cut in the boxy version

Elk leather…never handled one. Any info on how thick it is? We usually hear about 1.2 mm horsehide jackets.

@Alex Wow this is so good guys !!!! If you need someone to sample it for you

Those OD's are just wonderful looking...
What did they start out as?
Has the stitching been re-done (I note that the blue and read threads really pop), or is it that the threads don't take the dye as well as the cotton?

No, they have literally just been dipped in black dye!

The constructional threads are polycotton. Polyester does not take the dye…..
