IH-888-XHSMB - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut - Mad Black

@Mizmazzle hahaha good eye my guy. I actually had two of them made. It was set up by a prior admin I think like 7 or 8 years ago. I tried to get them to do them again but just the two so far. Maybe I'll advocate for one this year. I held a Vincent van Gogh book in one and Fellowship the Ring on the other.

@Oaktavia did you notice any significant stretch in the waist after wearing yours for so long without a wash?

I wear my jeans one or two sizes too big so I don't know.

Right on… just grabbed a pair. Actual measurements are under tag size, just curious if they will let up at all. Anyone that runs them tight have any experience with these?

@Memphisakers Here is some data from earlier in the thread for you.

I bought a size 40 pair of these Mad Black jeans right away when they first came out. I noticed that the waist measurement was only 38.2 inches, but I was not concerned, as I have a heavy duty waist expander that works quite well on my Iron Heart jeans. I soaked the new jeans in cold water before using the expander. I was able to stretch the waist more than 2.5 inches wider. These do seem to be softer than my other 25oz IH jeans. I would not describe them as rigid, nor will they stand up on their own. This dark color is currently my most favorite in my IH collection.
-
@goosehd that kinda helps I guess… I was more curious about the typical type of stretch you get with IH jeans from wearing them tight. I feel like any jeans would stretch wet with a jeans stretcher.
-
@Matt I wish! Got mine off grailed, they were reasonable and in my tag size. Thought it may be my only chance to grab a pair so I went for it. They are at least an inch under hence the questions about stretch.

@Matt I’m gonna try to tuff it out, but they are pretty bad in the waist. All other measurements are just about perfect. Tight xhs is nothing to scoff at
