IH-526Lod - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo Overdyed Black

@jerkules I think it looks pretty great. Bit of room
To be comfy. I think once it breaks in and drapes a bit more and loses the touch of boxiness it has it will look even better. Especially since you want a bit of room. Looks good over the tee though too in my opinion. Not oversized at all. But like @T4920 said, could go smaller if you wanted, but would lose that comfy size over a UHF. -
Thanks for the affirmation @T4920 & @Mizmazzle . I found it hard to size this as I have no similar jacket to compare it to. I just went "slightly bigger" in chest/shoulder dimensions than I would for my ideal UHF. It's weird 'cause when you've been coveting something for so long (as I have with this jacket), the excitement upon getting one makes you a bit blind to what it actually looks like and how it fits.
As an aside @Mizmazzle, did yours ever arrive, or is it still inching closer?

@jerkules Good to hear! Rereading your post and seeing that you prefer a little wiggle room, I think you definitely made the right choice with the XXL.
As much as I love my slimmer fitting one, it's definitely a case of form>function..
Like Miz says, once it breaks in and molds to your body it'll really come into its own! (Just don't expect it to drape anytime soon, mine is still rigid and creaky after 3 months wear and a wash)

So I’ve wanted one of these for ages,….. but I’m just curious what others think out there. Too big?
In my experience with the Triangel of Terror Jacket
yours is fine. Arms will settle and there’s molding expectable. -
Yeah looks great @jerkules

@jerkules oh man!! Thanks for asking and funnily enough, just got word that it has landed back to the sender. After sitting in Netherlands post for months my boy Jeffery finally had to demand it be returned. Took a couple more weeks but it’s back with him now. Soooo, this time I won’t be a cheap bastard and take the lowest possible cost option for shipping and will opt for fed ex or DHL or ups and have it insured! If all goes smoothly it could be here next week hypothetically. What a wild ride!!!

@jerkules looks good brotha.
Make regular and relaxed fits great again!I too had to size up to the xxxl even though xxl fit. I wanted to be able to toss an uhf under it and the xxl would allow for it but movement was restricted.
Needed an xx\l I guess lol -
Thanks gang, looking forward to giving the jacket some heavy wear this season.
@Mizmazzle that’s great to hear, stoked for you! Looking forward to seeing some pics of yours.

I suppose the 526LOD fades quicker than other cuts, because it’s so stiff: even after quite a few days of wear, it still leaves me rushes at crease of my arms, when I wear just it over a t-shirt

@AdamJ stunning

Well...my 526LOD arrived this morning and it exceeds all expectations! I wanted to add an OD Type III to my wardrobe and was chatting with @Graham at the mothership about the 14oz OD...he told me that if I really wanted the best OD to go for the 19LOD. I will admit after seeing pictures of the non-OD version of this jacket online, I was hesitant to jump into something that looked so stiff and heavy. However, the OD process significantly softens the denim, so I decided to go for it. I ordered the Size L and it fits perfectly (5'10" 168 pounds)...I am blown away by the texture and inky finish on this jacket...I am really thrilled with it!!!
