IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
@endo Can you date them? I'm especially interested to know how old is the left most pair. Looks epic.
-
@endo Amazing. May I ask how often you wash your 634 21oz?
-
the one on the left is more than 4 years old, couldn‘t tell how many wears and washes, it‘s now in semi-retirement.
the two in the middle are my main rotation atm. I usually wear them for 5 work days, and then they hang out. the next week I wear the other. they get washed when sticky or smelly.
the one on the right is the anni. It has only 15 wears and is still dry, since I got a UHR at the same time which I‘m preferring a bit.
-
@endo I´m thinking of getting the 634s in UHR also but am unsure if I should get the same size (order online). Did you get the same size in the UHR?
-
@five-pocket my UHR is tag size 34' same as all my other 634s, IDK if actual measurements were much different, but @Graham can probably help finding the right size for you
-
@endo Thanks a lot mate. I made the products comparison on the IH site, and the waist measurements are different on the 2 types so I wondered. Thanks again.
-
After wearing the 634, I do not want to wear anything else. None of the other cuts work our for me. I will get another pair of 634 soon. Just having a juggling between either the UHR or the regular 210z.
-
First wear on Dec 1st ‘22. Probably 275 wears since and 6 or 7 washes.
-
@TexasCrane Very nice
-
@AdamC how far away are we from restocking these?
-
@Alex thanks Alex.

A couple question for those of you that cuff your jeans.
Do you find that they fray more quickly than jeans that are hemmed?
And, do you worry about it?
-
@jreast80 I do not worry about it as jeans fray and can be repaired. As to how quickly it depends on a multitude of factors with the jeans length being the biggest factor.
I find that a cuff will wear faster than a hem, but it really doesn’t matter as they can be fixed or I just live with it as it gives the jeans character.
-
@goosehd how do I find a good/reliable repair shop? I love the cuffed look, but they do seem to fray much quicker than hemmed jeans - but if that’s easily repairable, I’m all about cuffin.
I’m in Boulder, CO if anyone knows a local place.
