IHSH-346-BLK - 10oz Recycled Nylon Mechanic Work Shirt - Black
-
I always had the feeling of nylon or synthetic fibres to be more sweaty (and stinky ) than cotton ones.
Nonetheless this shirt looks hairy, less nylon-shiny and breathable, am I right?How does it feels, compared to a 100% cotton shirt, to anyone at IH that tried it on?

@alexpupin i've just tried it on without a tee underneath and it's fine, not too scratchy/uncomfortable as it may appear. I would personally wear with a tee underneath to keep it fresh for the reasons you mentioned

@AdamJ thanks!

Still can’t believe this is 100 percent nylon. Very nice shirt and I love how it feels

I picked up this shirt locally for $250 this weekend. Its quickly becoming my favorite shirt. The fit is perfect and I love that there are no visible logos on the shirt / buttons. I'll have to post a fit pic later this week.

anyone put some miles on these/can talk on the fabric?

Fell face first off the wagon on impulse purchases this past month. Pulled the trigger on this bad Larry and is exactly what I was hoping for; a no phrills chonky over shirt.

@flannel-slut looks awesome man. Did you go normal size? If so, could you pull off a size down over just a T? Nice grab!
-
@SKT Thanks brotha man. I’m a medium on almost all of the denim shirts/serge/CPOs and a large on most of the UHFs/madras. I often find myself in between these sizes and let the measurement chart ultimately push me in either direction. I’m also able to gauge my size pretty well based off the model, the size they went with and how I feel it fits them. Olly tends to be 2 sizes up from me but noticed this one looked tight for him in a large so felt safe going with the Medium.

Sorry on such a long winded response for a simple question!

@flannel-slut ha…I think we all enjoy the details! This thing kinda snuck up on me and, like you, I’m drawn to the simplicity. I think I could do my normal size large and be right on. Really cool piece man…enjoy it!
