It's not the type of jacket that's looking for a commitment... Not the type you bring home to meet the parents. Nope, this is the one-night stand that lets you live out your fantasy then quickly moves on. To the Mad Red Motherf**ker, you're just another scratch on the bedpost. We all just want to leave our mark.
-
@Giles that is also full-on rockstar status

@Giles equally cool! Do you know where the 2nd Mad Red ended up?
So, what happened is a good customer wanted a red jacket. I sourced the goatskin from a little tannery in France which (from memory) only does goatskin. The goatskin for the Guile King came from the same tannery. It is insanely beautiful leather.
The first jacket we made for the customer did not fit the way he wanted it to, so we made another, which did fit. This one is the one that dod not fit him.....

Taking my usual lunch time walk in Mad Red, and trying to think of interesting facts about my city to share with y'all.
Sadly, Leicester Cathedral is covered in scaffolding as it's being renovated at the moment, but the building/surrounding area was bought to the attention of the country in the last decade due to the discovery, and subsequent reinterment of the remains of King Richard III.
Conventional wisdom had previously dictated that his tomb was dug up in the late 1500s, and that his bones had been thrown into the River Soar, but a group of archaeologists gained permission to start excavating sites in, and around Leicester in search of his remains as they didn't subscribe to these beliefs.
In 2012, in one of the first sites excavated in this pursuit (Grey Friars Car Park), a curved spined was found amongst other human remain, these were later provided to be those of the late king. They were then put on display in the Cathedral for 18 months before being reburied in 2015.

@T4920 - i've been caught in rain in a leather jacket numerous times. soaking wet. regarding maintenance - nothing in particular, just avoid drying it on the direct heating like radiators. wipe it with a cloth and add a little bit of leather cream so it does not crack in the process of drying.
