IHSH-363-NAV - 10oz Organic Chambray Work Shirt - Navy Blue
-
@TelemarkTumalo I do not have this shirt in my hands yet (purchased the mocha) but dimensions are in line w other work shirt chambrays, to which I own and wear (military) tucked at work often. I usually ask the crew my tag size in the longest length measurement available.
-
Work shirts can be tucked depending on your own body. I have to get a xxx in work shirts for the shoulder which makes the chest a little roomy for me therefore the body is a little bigger. Can still tuck all my work shirts if I wanted though.
You can also have a good trailer take it in if needed. Don’t be afraid to tailor ever.

So glad I pulled the trigger

Thanks to the sizing advice I got here, I chose the medium and happy with the fit. My concerns about tucking have been addressed. This is after one wash. Quality is exactly as I expected. My only complaint is the relatively small diameter cuffs. Hard to wear a watch under there.

This shirt is making it hard to hold out on the last couple uhfs! Hoping the timing works out. How’s the hand on this thing?
-
@WhiskeySandwich considering this is a chambray, very cronchy.
-
@flannel-slut it does look that way in pics. I'm sure it'd soften up tho, ya?
-
@WhiskeySandwich I’ve only worn mine twice but I would assume so bud
-
@SKT yooo, wore mine to work for the first day today. It was also a little large but def glad I didn’t size down. Washed it cold when I first got it, threw it in the dryer - negligible shrinkage but I didn’t fully dry it. Probably will next time just to tighten it up. I think this one will get regular wash/dry routine rather than any special treatment. I think it’ll drape nicely once it softens up. I was even thinking about overdye gray a little. I have a feeling this will get some nice fuzz texture with a lot of wash/drying and might shrink a little, cuz you can feel some stretch in it.
-
@WhiskeySandwich good to hear. Yeah the texture is amazing I think. I’ll try to do a before after measurement and start with a warm wash and dry. It’s such a great color in person too.
-
@SKT the texture is awesome and I’m sure washing will make it even more so. I do like the color, but if it starts lightening up to a baby blue I was thinking of doing a rit gray just lightly. Keep us posted on your shrink results. I was going easy as I was afraid of overdoing it.

I think this capture the texture pretty well
