@SKT that looks great on you!! If you don’t mind, could I get your chest size and how tall you are?
-
@Mizmazzle thanks man…now I get what all the fuss is about with this denim! Amazing stuff!
@Nostradamion I’m 5’9”, with a 41” chest. I usually look for just over 22” p2p for shirts. I can wear this over a UHF with a trim fit. I could NOT wear this size over an IH hoodie or similar. Would need an XL. Hope that helps and good luck!

@SKT looks really perfect congrats

@SKT thanks for the info; that really helps. Closest I’ve been able to find is an XXL and while it’s not that much bigger than an XL on paper, my fear is that it would be too big. Guess I’m going to need to wait for restock at Iron Heart.
-
@jerkules the jacket looks great; fit is good and it looks like you have the extra room you’re looking for. Would you mind letting me know your measurements? I’m only finding this jacket in an XXL as well and am not sure if it will be too big for me. I have a 42 inch chest, and once I layer a t-shirt and flannel (usually Outerknown blanket flannel shirts) my chest goes up to just over 44. I’m 5’10” and 180. Don’t know if I should chance it, or just wait for restock whenever that may be.
Any info you can provide is appreciated.

@Nostradamion In my opinion it will be too big. Same dimensions as you, but 43" chest and I wear xl's...
-
@Nostradamion I completely agree with @goosehd you would be better waiting for the re-stock. The most recent batch of lefty’s ran a little large too. For reference I wear UHF’s in a XXL and my XXL OD lefty fits me with an undershirt and a UHF or Kersey under it. If you wear an L or XL in iron heart shirts you’ll be swimming in a XXL OD lefty..

@DeeDee85 thanks much for the feedback. Patience is a virtue; hopefully it won’t be too long for restock.
-
@Nostradamion thanks man I appreciate it. I’m exactly the same weight as you, but a little taller (6’2”).
Fit is such a subjective thing and I think a lot of people on this forum would say my jacket and fit was on the “larger” side - there’s no doubt I could fit into an XL. However I kinda hate wearing trim jackets on me - looks rad on other people but I just never get on with it. So I always err on the side of relaxed lately. End result is I sometimes look a little slobby but hey I kinda like it . I also suffer from impatience and wanted that jacket, like, NOW.
Could ask the crew for the dimensions on the remaining XXLs and see if any might work?
-
@jerkules thanks much for the info. I think at this point I’m going to wait until they get restock of the XL. I could probably make the 2XL work but I’m pretty sure it would look big on me.

@Nostradamion
Here are a couple pictures of the 42 and 44 for comparison. Sorry the photo quality sucks so bad!! For reference, I’m 5’11, 175 lbs. I’m wearing a T and UHF under each. For comfort, the 44 feels better. For a more fitted look, it’s the 42. I’m gonna keep both for a while until I decide which I prefer. Also, if I were to add a little winter weight, it would definitely be the 44. IMG_5259.jpeg -
@pjroo33 thanks so much for the pics; I’m actually thinking the 44 looks a little better!! The 44 is a 2XL right? If so, I may just take a chance on the 2XL I found. The biggest issue is the store doesn’t offer refunds, so it’s got to be something I’m pretty sure of. BTW, how does the 44 wear over just a t-shirt?

@Nostradamion this may have been pointed out already, but keep in mind the OD version won’t shrink at all. So the measurements you get are what they’ll be. If you go the indigo version it will shrink considerably.
