Yeah I wasn't sure if that was a typo or not
Haha they are in the dryer so hopefully that wasn’t as he was pretty firm on that

Life's a botch and then you dye!

There is a woman on Reddit by the name of EllaHarp who posts her IH 888 vintage fades quite often and they look amazing. Her fades have great contrast, but the denim has a lighter overall appearance and she swears by the technique of adding a splash of bleach to every wash cycle. I have heard that idea floated by others who like a lighter fade. Perhaps that would help tame the SBG in the way you are looking for?

One of the owners of son of a stag told me customers use to pay him to fade their denim. His trick was to hang them closeby while taking hot shower each day. The slight dampness from the steam supposedly helps them fade faster.
I have no idea if it works, just passing along what I heard.

Had to look that up. I suspect you may be onto something… lots of wear always right answer for fades

Agree--real pity
unless of course you're into that stone washed vibe -
I think those look rad. BUT not on me.

@dinobarnesberlin Completely agree about the stone wash…didn’t like it the first time it came around nor acid wash…
