IHM-35-KHA - Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Khaki

@doubletee looking good man. Out of curiosity what size do you take in UHFs and this?
I'll pull the trigger one day, bought a Buzz Rickson years back, but had to sell it as the sleeves wear too short in the end.
-
Merry Christmas to all!
-
Just wish the UK was cold enough year round to never have to take this off… what a jacket.
-
@DeeDee85 Agreed! Was also rockin’ mine today as well! The occasion seems not to crop up as much as I’d like though. Weather this year over Xmas has been weirdly warm, wet, and clammy.
-
@long_john86 I’ve been thinking the same, was hoping to take it on our pre-Christmas trip to Center Parcs and ended up having to take lighter stuff instead.. here’s hoping to a big cold snap in February eh? It looks fantastic over the 370 by the way!
-
@DeeDee85 Weather wish granted here
Just about to head out - N1 no brainer! -
@long_john86 don’t get much cosier than that! I work in construction so struggle to get mine on mid-week, fingers crossed for a cold weekend

Looking for a fit check on this. This is a medium and seems like it is a bit too small. Any feedback is appreciated. I am wearing an 11oz long sleeve tee and the black 13oz western military serge shirt.
-
It really depends how you want to wear it. This M looks pretty tight. Would probably work with only a tee under. If you want to wear it with a tee and a shirt you might need to size up. Probably the sleeves will be long then, which is intended by design for riding bikes. You could get them trimmed, which is what I did on mine. Judge by how you feel at the torso, enough moving space?

@Mizmazzle
Thanks it zips but feels like I am squeezing into the coat, and feeling like th Michelin man. -
@endo this is exactly how I feel and I think it looks like I am squeezing into it.
Thanks for your advice. -
@Tom-Longarms what size was this mate? L?
-
@bb That looks like a good fit to my eye. Plenty of length in the sleeves and your shoulders seem just about right. As long as you can zip fully and have room underneath, you should be good to go.
-
@TelemarkTumalo thanks man. Still trying to decide between the medium and large.
-
@Supersonic XL ️

I thought I was in between sizes as well and debated between Med. and Large. I wear both sizes in IH flannels, chambray, etc. I decided on the medium and really glad that I did. When the temps drop <20°F, this is my go to jacket and I have room for baselayer and sweater as well. Just a great jacket and should last my lifetime.

Now that spring/summer is upon us in the Northern hemisphere and I'm sadly putting this jacket away, any storage recommendations as it has a wool lining and all?
