Where do we report issues with the new forum?
-
Thanks a lot!
-
@alexpupin I am testing this currently, do you have an example of a post you're unable to edit?
I have a test account with standard permissions and can edit posts with it, just wondering if it may be thread specific! Thanks
-
@AdamJ thanks for looking into this issue:
I can’t edit this post for example:
https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum//post/774453Also, I see that @WhiskeySandwich has a similar issue in the same thread.
-
@alexpupin Thanks, confirmed I can't either with my test user so almost definitely a permissions issue

Links at the end not pointing to further posts or the shop.

Could just be a me thing, but I miss when you could go to recent posts and read the actual recent posts rather than just seeing which threads have been posted in recently
-
This one might have been mentioned before, but I don't really wanna comb back through 191 posts...
If I'm scrolling back in a thread from the most recent post, there's eventually a point at which a big batch of photos from previous posts all load at once, and it blasts me back in time quite a bit, usually making it tough to go back to where I just was. It's pretty damn annoying, but I somehow don't think there's a way to get around this happening, unless I'm missing something. Anyone else deal with this and/or maybe find a way to prevent it?
-
@popvulture it drives me mad
-
@DeeDee85 glad to know I'm not the only one
-
@popvulture just about get to what you were looking for then it cycles back through 40 posts.. then go really slowly back the other way, just about to get to what you were looking for and it cycles through 80 posts the other way..
-
Happens to me too. Both on an Ipad and an Iphone.
Never reported it but it has been happening for months. -
It's happened to me since basically the beginning of the new forum — I get why it does it, but I still wonder if there's some way to fix it. @AdamJ has anyone ever brought this up with you?
-
I'm assuming you are all on the infinite scroll setting rather than paginate?
-
@marco23d you sound like a wise man... I'm going to investigate this setting right now
-
Well hot damn that fixed it. I owe you a beer or a coffee or one of the things!
@DeeDee85 @motojobobo check it out in Settings, should do the trick for you.
-
@popvulture haha believe me it was driving me crazy at first. I tried to find the setting a while back, enabled it, but forgot to click save so i thought it was a lost cause. But it's life changing. Much more enjoyable experience.
-
@marco23d yeah much more enjoyable, indeed! Loading issue or not, I definitely prefer pages either way — for whatever reason it just gives me a clearer definition of time, plus I find it easier to go back and look for stuff if I roughly remember where it is page-wise.
-
@marco23d big thank you for this!!!
-
Oh wow - yes thanks also - just stumbled into this thread and you have solved something that was driving me nuts!!
