Tom Krein Cicada
I bought it off of a friend and it’s been used pretty well, however, a couple quick runs on my strop and it’s hair popping sharp.

Thanks to @iamjustdanny got this Kansept Knives XL Korvid Liner Lock Knife (3.5") on Black Friday. It packs a punch not only looking like a donut Homer Simpson would devour in one bite, but it’s a solid piece with some weight to it given its size. Hoping to test it out at work & butcher or hack into something one of these days to see how it fairs. Until then, can confirm it shreds paper nice & smooth like butter

@popvulture ^knife from waywt thread

@RoxRocks86 I think you have to name it Homer. Or maybe Sprinkles.

We've named it Homer. This is named King sized Homer. I have a mini version of this which is named "Little Homer".

@endo this is the Lil Temperance, it is a folder with Spyderco’s compression lock. It was originally designed for MBC but this iteration is more a super heavy duty folder. It is a TANK.

My EDC pocket knife

Happily resides in my jeans now. First MICROtech, but will likely not be the last. Perhaps I’ll learn up on better items to carry, but this gives my protech and benchmade a rest.
Also, purchased and carried in CA…

A few weeks ago a bill was passed in the state which allows open carry for blades that were once banned…automatics, butterflies, etc.
Picked up a few autos that I’ll test and use at work - Microtech (middle) & Boker (far right). The Chavez 229 (far left) was on sale for $199 so got one for me & one for my dad. Already used the 229 in the photo which handled some odds and ends beyond boxes and packages when my utility knife was mia at work - cutting/scoring material such as wood, drywall, straps, shims, rope, vinyl, etc. Handled everything like a champ.
I don’t care for technicalities when it comes to what blades are used for what, if it’s sharp and it’s meant to cut I’m going all in.
