WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
@long_john86 I've of course heard Madchester but it just dawned on me... is Ladchester a thing?
-
@long_john86 yup! New boots always helps. My Morrisons fit like a dream and are custom fit. Been meaning to queue up another set of custom wescos but damnit, that wait time. Could be a good plan to order and forget em and then be stoked in a couple years!! I’ll probably need orthotics by then.
-
That's a brutal damn waitlist. I haven't been able to pull the trigger.
-
@popvulture my lady bought me a pair of Viberg Pacheno Bay hikers for my birthday today! Been wanting a top build hiker model forever. Feeling very boot blessed this year.
-
Damn dude, happy birthday! And helluva boot score — congrats on those. I love some hiking boots, got some Mountain Lights I've had for several years now that have held up really nicely. Always nice to put em on, because I know I'm doing something fun.
-
@Mizmazzle Well Happy Birthday, hope she got you some new socks to go with those boots. An inside joke from the American Football thread.
-
Thanks man. Birthday isn’t until end of March hahah. But found this last pair anywhere available on the World Wide Web in my size and jumped on em. Feel like my birthday gifts come earlier every year before my birthday these days haha. Come end of March it’s just cake and ice cream.
@Jett129 haha. Training camp is just 120 days away!! Gonna start the new socks extra early this season for increased “stick with it ness!!”

Went to the Monet’s Garden exhibition in Stockholm. You could paint your own water lily, have it scanned and projected in the artificial dam… pictured is me in the process (at the childrens table) and the result.

No, they are super quiet. Yours are Nuclear, ours aren't - not sure if that makes a difference.....
Stolen from the web:
The MOD decided not to use nuclear propulsion because of its high cost and chose a podded propulsion system based on Rolls-Royce’s integrated electric propulsion (IEP) system. The contract for the propulsion system was awarded in October 2008.The propulsion system consists of two Rolls-Royce Marine 36MW MT30 gas turbine alternators, providing over 70MW, and four diesel engines, providing approximately 40MW, with the total installed power approaching 110MW.
The gas turbines and diesel engines are the largest supplied to the Royal Navy, their combined power feeds the low-voltage system and supplies two tandem electric propulsion motors that drive a conventional twin-shaft arrangement, fitted with fixed-pitch propellers.

that one is always going wrong.

@Giles I remember going here as a kid and seeing the Victory and Mary Rose!
