Totally bumming these won’t be released in the smaller sizes - was so looking forward to this release. @Ross any chance there will be size s or xs in Japan that can be had?
-
@John-Galt unfortunately these have only been made in M-XL for now, I have plans to release these in S, but need to see how they are received before commiting to more sizes
-
@Steve how do they fit in terms of sizing?
I checked the measurements for my typical size L (usual size also for all IH stuff that I have). It has been a while since I had a blazer but shoulder measurement of 20 looks a bit loose. Should I size down? -
@Steve Great to hear there’s a chance: fingers crossed. Thanks!
-
@Steve can you please describe how heavy/ warm is this fabric? Can it be used as a pure summer blazer/jacket?
-
@Cskarev These are similar to IH sizing but are designed more for the western style fit.
A lot also depends how you like your fit on these, and example is @AdamC can wear a L and XL, both looked good on him, his preference was the L as he thought the blazer works better as a closer fit. Johnny wears and prefers a L as he does on all IH (but can wear a M). I prefer a M in this, while genrally wear a L on most IH - I guess it depends how you want the the blazer to fit you.
Also worth mentioning there are two front dart seams on the blazer that gives it a closer fit, so it isnt a boxy blazer.
Hope this helps (a bit)!

@Steve thanks a lot for the answer! I will probably follow your example and size down!
-
@CPA As a physical weight, its similar to our 14oz denim jackets, but due to the weave it has a thicker texture while still being breathable and with the body of the blazer not lined it gives it relaxed natural drap (but the arms are lined for comfort)
I would defintely say this perfect as a spring/summer blazer, wearing a tshirt under it would be perfect - thats how I plan to wear it!
-
@Cskarev If I was wearing unbuttoned with a tee, which is how I would wear it, then I would go with an L (I am an XL in IH UHFs) however if I was planning on wearing it buttoned or layering something heavier underneath I would have to go with an XL, but I like a trimmer fit as Steve said and the weight and feel of these jackets are perfect for summer over a tee in my opinion

Great, very helpful info @AdamC! Thank you!
