Flippin two years is so long. What if our tastes change and we don’t like sweet boots anymore? What if in two years we want to wear Yeezy Foams??? -
@Mizmazzle Tell me about it. We could very well have moved over to goat hair boots by then!
-
@long_john86 And, God forbid toe nail fungus or my lawn mower doesn't like me anymore.

New boot day…
I am blown away with the quality of these, my whole house smells like a horse butt! Baker’s provided fantastic service and helped to find the perfect fit. Can’t wait to break them in and see this Maryam Toscanello develop.
-
@SourPower yeah dude!! Fucking, congrats!! Those are spectacular!! Sizing worked out well, then??
-
@SourPower truly an excellent choice my friend, they are beautiful compliments
-
@SourPower wow those are amazing. I love the natural patterns on the leather. Super fucking cool.
-
@SourPower Gorgeous boots! Congrats on getting these. Shout out to my homies. Baker's and Wesco are two Oregon companies that I am happy to support.

I'm looking at the Wesco x The Shop short stack boss engineer boots and wondering if any one has this boot and can compare the sizing to the red wing classic chelsea or the mister lou? The recommendation is to size down 1/2 size, but want to hear others experiences who have this boot.
-
@bluemantra FYI, I’ve moved your topic here.
-
@bluemantra I would assume it is similar to the Lou but I would suggest to reach out to TJ from The Shop. He is very helpful and has plenty of experience with both, the Lou`s and the short stack.

This video was also helpful. Looks like low heel runs a 1/2 size larger. And TJ recommends sizing down 1/2 size from mister lou.
Now chromexcel or horse hide....Does chromexecl get to floppy with age compared to horse hide?

@SKT if you do order them, you should go custom! You’re going to have a wait on your hands (unless you’ve found a pair somewhere )
My wescos are custom fit and it’s incredible how perfect they feel on my feet.
I've thought about this, but have read some stories of it not working out which has me on the fence. I'm likely to do it incorrectly. Did you have someone do the tracings and measurements or did you do them yourself?
