Gardening, landscaping and plants in general

I thought I’d share a photo of my 7 foot monstera as she was looking so good today! Another obsession I have is house plants. I’m constantly propagating but I’m most fascinated with Alocasia and philodendron.
I recently added this Philodendron billietiae too, love the orange stems on these.
Any others collect these?

A couple Japanese maples and a wip pic of a flagstone path my wife and I did last summer/fall.

Thanks @Clint_D ! I think we’ve just been getting lucky tbh as I can be pretty neglectful. My neighbor has tried several times and they’ve all died over their first winter. Those pics were from last fall, the maple with the rock border(not sure the type) is just now coming out of its first winter and is looking good, here are some progression shots from the past cpl wks.

Not the greatest pic but expanded to 2 beds this year and started working on adding a clear path. We took out 9 dying pines from this area last year.

So I have the back-breaking job of digging out an 800mm border in my garden.
During my hard labour today I came across this ‘object’…..
What do you see?
Any thoughts?….. -
@goosehd Whilst I’d love to imagine it is a weapon of some description, some kind of railing is a more logical assumption. The site has an old Victorian convalescent on it in the Gothic style (now converted into apartments) so no doubt something to do with that.
It really captured my boy’s imagination - he went on to dig for more random finds.
But back to the back-breaking border for me tomorrow…. -

Jasmine is blooming and first few radishes already were popping along with some purple basil that needed topping. It’s my favorite part of spring.
