@steelworker Yea, you make a good point on the stability factor.
No ankle wobble at all with mine, not that Im putting in lots of running miles with them or anything— but there are lots and lots of stairs here in Berlin if you are out and about in the city.
Im gonna enjoy putting these through some paces !

@Luijim78 Brand new, congrats then! Very nice, I dig it. Not too far off from the Samurai Type 1 25oz, which I love.

@JunkPants yes I believe it is made exactly on that model, or rather on a 19oz Samurai to be precise. They didn't formalize the production, they made some jackets for customers who participated in the competitions with "special" fabrics.

@Luijim78 Aha, very cool That explains it. The cut, the button configuration and the front pocket all look very similar to the Samurai 25oz Type I just sold. Just shipped it out about an hour ago, to live a good life in Canada. My new Samurai 25oz Type I is ever so slightly different, with one more button, and a different (buttoned) chest pocket. Truth be told I prefer the first one, but the size wasn't quite right.

I couldn't find it on their web page, makes sense that it's a special run. Enjoy it, it looks awesome!

Might be a good one to post in the Piger Works thread as well.
