not sure what the insect is. never seen them before this year but they start out key lime green and turn brown. thousands of them in my area this year.

Family of turkeys this morning. Kept a safe enough distance? did not like the idea of momma or poppa turkey thinking they needed to protect their young.

@SKT the blue tail on those five lined skins are so beautiful. I saw my first one at my Nana's house a couple of summers ago. They're quick, I only saw it for a moment and it was gone.

Soooo many hummingbirds here, I watch them all day long. I’ve seen them drinking from the flowers in the garden, but haven’t been stealth enough yet to snap that pic….
