Been binging a lot of late (quitting smoking has me doing a lot of other things to excess to ease my mind off, and yes, it’s been much easier ). LOVED Baby Reindeer. HATED Fool Me Once (really Giles? a re-watch??) and now recently finished up Gentlemen.
Guy Ritchie has been hit or miss of late for me and that is most likely attributed to the bar being set too high coming out w classics like Lock Stock and Snatch. About midway through episode 1, you know you’re in for that magic Ritchie can sometimes bring and it does not let up. Again, very late to it, but if you’ve been holding off like I was, know that this is a special one in the queue.
What to watch next everyone?
I’ve heard decent things on Supacell. Did not watch last season of Umbrella Academy and been thinking of watching w the finale coming out. Been saving the last two seasons of The Boys like fine wine. And just watched Decameron trailer, looks ace. -
I apparently needed to re-visit RECTIFY, which is one of my favourite shows... Not the easiest watch, but so rewarding...

I’m currently watching Pachinko on Apple TV. Up there with the best I’ve watched this year. Amazing cast & acting, superb sets & locations.
The blurb:
Based on the New York Times bestseller, this sweeping saga chronicles the hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family across four generations as they leave their homeland in an indomitable quest to survive and thrive. -
@flannel-slut pretty deep into The Gentleman now. Did you notice all the Jacques Marie Mage frames in the show’s wardrobe?
-
I’ve got to give a big shout out to NYPD Blue. I never really watched it when it was originally on and I just started it from the beginning not too long ago. 19 seasons so it will take a while. I think the show still stands up today and is really fun to watch.

@Mizmazzle ha! So much JMM! Bobby Glass rocking some classics
-
Deadloch and Mr Inbetween
-
@doubletee Loved Deadloch.
-
@Brian I keep seeing fleeting scenes, especially close ups of his eyes that give him away but likewise most of the time I'm questioning if it is really him! The make up team deserve an Emmy for sure! The show is pretty entertaining as well!

If no one told me who the actor was or if hbo didn’t tell then there is no way the world I would have guessed it it’s such a transformation

The Penguin is my next up - I’ve recently finished Breaking Bad (I was slow on the up-take) plus Blue Lights (S1), and have the last episode of House of Dragons (S2) to watch, then Gotham, here I come…with the Clone Wars ticking over in the background.
I’d normally be watching mostly sports, but when the Mets are the most successful team that you follow, it’s time to get those TV series binge watched!

Thanks for the heads up on the new season @Matt
