Tanuki Jeans Japan

Tanuki is a japanese brand founded in 2016.
They don't share an awful lot about the people behind them on their website:

But they carry a range of jeans, jackets and shirts.
Their name has been mentioned only a few times on here, but I couldn't find a dedicated thread.

I came across them via Red Cast Heritage, while browsing for some indigo T-Shirts.
I have two of their heavyweight models, indigo and black, which i'd value in the 8-9oz range (they're a bit lighter than the IH 11oz stuff).
The texture is interesting, a little slubby, very soft, feeling a little wool-like - difficult to describe. Red Cast sees their cut rather 'american' - I think it's rather slim, but fairly long (which fits me great).
