I will take the 49ers over my Vikings, so if the Vikings do lose I will at least have some good news by staying alive here
-
I am going Lions over Buccaneers as well. I think it is going to be a shoot out.
-
Bills over Dolphins @Jett129
-
@steelworker I just put down a small bet on the Bills before going to bed. Should be a good one, I think(hope, pray) the Bills will end up on top too.
-
Week 2 of the NFL Season gets underway and @steelworker kicks it off by taking Buffalo over Miami. Hoping for a better outcome than the game that earned him the Worst Beat of the Year award. Sorry to keep bringing that up. Last time, I promise. Good luck. I’ll be rooting for you!

I’ll be riding the Texan’s train along with Scooter and GooseHD. I think Stefon Diggs is going to have a similar effect on C.J. Stroud,as he did when he first got to Buffalo, along with Joe Mixon and Dalton Schultz. The Bears on the road with a rookie quarterback will have their paws full.
-
Heading into tomorrow’s games myself,@scooter and @goosehd need the Texans to trap Da Bears. @Mizmazzle @Oaktavia and @SKT are counting on The Ravens making the Raiders 0-2. @pmadison95 and @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot are looking for The Lions to prevail over The Buccaneers in the revenge rematch of last year’s divisional playoff game. While @october-rust is looking for one of those happy/sad moments as he picks The 49ers to toast his beloved Vikings. And last but certainly not least @IrishHeart is hoping The Eagles and Saquan Barkley run all over The Falcons. Thanks to everyone for getting your picks in and good luck to all.

Another wild wacky week in The NFL,and it’s only week #2. Even Troy Aikman said at the start of last night’s game that after this weekend a lot of Survivor Pools must be obsolete. You know he lurks on this Forum, and therefore had to be referencing this pool. The theme for this weeks wrap up is one that I’ve used before, and it’s The Good,The Bad and The Ugly, which was a 1966 movie starring Clint Eastwood. Here we go. The Good…@steelworker gets The Buffalo Bills monkey off his back as they go down to Miami and squish The Fish, giving Steelworker back to back wins and now just like The Chiefs he’s going for his first Threepeat. The Bad….The Ravens who couldn’t hold on to a 10 point lead, outgained The Raiders by 123 yards, but somehow let The Raiders rush for 151 yards, and commit 11 flipping penalties, at home, thereby sending @Oaktavia @Mizmazzle and @SKT home. The Bad…Jared Goff throwing not one but 2 interceptions giving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the win once again at home and in the process sending @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot and @pmadison95 home. The Bad was how The 49ers played against The Minnesota Vikings, letting Sam Freakin Darnold,an ex-Jet,get the best of them. But the silver lining is that while @october-rust is now on the sidelines his Vikings win and he gets his Happy/Sad moment. Not sure if you guys know the Happy/Sad joke? Guy says to his wife of 25 years…I bet you you can think of something that will make me Happy and Sad at the same time? She says yeah,Your brother’s d…k is smaller than yours. Ouch! Now for The Ugly Eagles at home Jason Kelce in the house 1:46 on the clock The Eagles up by 3 all Saquan Barkley has to do is catch a 3 yard pass and The Eagles can put this game away. Ugly is how he just misses, they kick a field goal and give the ball back to Kirk flippin Cousins, who proceeds to march down the field, score a touchdown and put The Falcons up by 1. But the Eagles still have time and timeouts but it was not to be as Hurts throws an interception thereby throwing @IrishHeart out of the pool. Ugly was the only way I could describe the Texans win over the Bears. Between the 2 teams 21 penalties, with The Texans accounting for 12 of them, more punts than I don’t know what, but,in the end The Texans do get The Ugly win and next week The Three Stooges @scooter @goosehd and myself will also be going for a Threepeat. We’re now down to 4. There you have it. See ya next week.

@Jett129 if the Eagles performed half as well as you write the summary then I’d still be in the pool!
Good luck to those who still live to fight another week

@IrishHeart I was really surprised that the Falcons played as well as they did, especially on defense. Kind of makes sense as their new head coach Raheem Morris was the defensive coordinator for The Rams when they won the Super Bowl. But after getting beat by The Steelers I thought, for sure, that The Eagles would handle them, especially at home. I think The Chiefs are going to have their hands full when they go up against them on Sunday. Thanks for the compliment!

Washington is on a roll! One game win streak! Great field goal skills!
-
@deanclean You gotta start somewhere.

The J-E-T-S…Jets,Jets,Jets! Got week 3 started with a nice win over their division rivals,The New England Patriots. Nice to see Jets fans have something to cheer about. So let’s get this party started,as well as the one in Gosport this weekend. My pick for this week will be The Las Vegas Raiders. Panthers are a mess.
