Bills over Balt. It would be wrong not to
-
I know it’s only Wednesday but our two remaining survivors have already weighed in with both of them sticking with the teams that got them here. Main difference is @goosehd needs Da Bears
to beat The Rams/ actually win a game. After the way that Buffalo 🦬 dismantled Jacksonville last week you can’t blame @steelworker for sticking with them to beat Baltimore. Should be a great game! Good Luck to both of you.

Washington was unbelievable. I can’t believe their season so far. I don’t want to get too excited, but it’s hard not to after countless years of bad football.
-
@Jett129 I was thinking the same, although we nearly could have went in to OT with KS had it not been for that toe in the endzone. As far as I am concerned we did bring that version with us week 1. Now the Raiders game on the other hand, we shit the bed and rolled around in it.
-
Even though Week 4 of this NFL season isn’t officially over, tonight’s games have no impact on us so let’s get to it. It was Mike Tyson who said”Everyone has a plan until you punch them in the mouth” which is exactly what The Ravens did to The Bills last night, thereby punching @steelworker to the sidelines. But Da @goosehd had Da Plan,Da Strategy which is to use Da Bears every week. Picking them to win in weeks 1 and 4,and ,conversely, picking them to loose in weeks 2 and 3. After just 4 weeks we have our first survivor as @goosehd in his rookie season is the last man standing. Congratulations!!!! But that also means we get to reset and everyone is back in the pool. Welcome back our Raven’s Flock @matt and @Oaktavia Chief’s Kingdom @SKT and myself @Mizmazzle and his socks @october-rust who just needed to keep picking his Vikings and Sam flipping Darnold and he’d be undefeated. Welcome back @Twistlock @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot @IrishHeart @shamrock8387 @pmadison95 @scooter and of course @steelworker. Now that Washington is rolling maybe @deanclean would like to join us,or possibly @choko with his terrible towel might like to give this pool a go,as well as anyone else who’s been lurking on the sidelines. Still lots of football left. Once again well done @goosehd

@Oaktavia I kind of agree with you but I feel as if The Dallas game really galvanized them, established their identity as a team, got the back to playing Raven’s football, and moving forward I expect them to be a very tough out. While the offensive play calling was great yesterday it was the defense that reminded me of The Ravens of old. Just relentless. The Chiefs on the other hand have not been playing all that well, could very easily be 1-3 right now if not for the toe,and some favorable/questionable calls by the Zebras. The defense won the game for them yesterday.

@Jett129 I would love to try the pool next season. I know basically nothing about other teams but that may be a benefit. Thanks for invite. I’ll stay tuned to this topic!
-
@deanclean My extensive knowledge of other teams, certainly, hasn't helped me. I was once in a pool with someone who made her selections based on which animal, she thought, would win in a fight. She did pretty good.
-
@Jett129 haha that works too. I used to make picks based on if I’d been to that city or if I liked the sound of the short form of that city. Buff for Buffalo etc.
-
@deanclean good news is you don’t have to wait until next year if you don’t want to. A new round is starting this week…all fresh and new!
-
Well that was quick, but congratulations @goosehd .
Pleased to have another selection, and I’ll go for Vikings to beat the Jets in London. -
I missed the last round, but would love to jump back in.
I’d also go Vikings over the Jets, sadly.
I tried to get tickets as the game is in London, but I got screwed over by the Ticketmaster website just as I tried to check out, so if the Jets lose, I’ll feel less bad about missing out. If they win, then happy days, however given the performance at the weekend versus the Broncos, I’m not hopeful of that happeneing, hence my selection. -
@Nocturama Glad to have you back, and it would also add insult to injury if the Jets get beat by their ex QB!
