Not so good man, Que was alot of people, by time got in to Ticketmaster to buy, there was only VIP seating for like 750 plus fees etc. I kinda blew it and looked at my phone 15mins later, I figured Ticketmaster would’ve notifed me when in . Texted with the mrs and we decided rather spend 14-1500 plus additional gas or flight travel to LA on a vacation. Hoping some people may sell cheaper closer to the show next year and be able get tix that way.

Side story, for cruel world 2021(Morrissey, blondie, devo etc great line up) my wife got tickets year before for us her parents and her sister. In Que for like hours. Them Of course that weekend over year later we all had covid and couldn’t make it, was only able to sell one of the 5 purchased. Hard plan year plus in advance

Not sure if anyone around here listens to Khruangbin. If you're not familiar, they've got a really unique sound and I think they're one of the best grooves out there right now.
This is a fun 11 minutes if you have the time.
If you have about an hour, I strongly suggest giving this a listen. This is one of their best recordings of all time.

I wasn't aware Elvis Costello wrote this one
I believe @popvulture is our resident expert on Mr C

@GraemeE ah yes, love RW’s version! EC’s version on Punch the Clock is also good — he got Chet Baker to play a solo on it, which I think was maybe sort of a feat at the time because Chet was in a pretty sad state.

So weird to listen to the radio these when they come on and say--" New Cure coming up" ---im all like whaaaaa?

@popvulture 80s Chet life is dark
But it works to capture the vibe
Just listened to that version for the 1st time -
@GraemeE definitely.
Fwiw if you haven’t dug deep into Costello, I’d say Punch the Clock is a fairly decent record, but there are others from that era that are really fantastic. Trust and Imperial Bedroom are my personal faves from then. But tbh… can’t really go wrong with any from the first dozen.
