@Mickey-GT dang man! Those 888s are just warming up- that 555 is a good fit on you tho. Aren’t you usually in 777? Also dig the tonal arcs on these

Yep. I‘m selling all my 777 at the moment. I don’t like the low rise anymore. With getting older I prefer a higher rise like 888 & 555.
The 555 will be my new „office denim“. So not intended to fade them like the 888…

@Mickey-GT Man I feel like we are the same. I sold off those black 777s I had and still have the shinakya 777s but there is just something I can't pinpoint on the fit, but I did the same with my 25oz 555s but now I'm back to looking at more 555s. I feel like I always get them fitting decent, and then I wash them too many times and they change SMH

Some new to me 555s along side my own pair of five year old 555s. Loving both for different looks, different events, different fades too

Received them today and couldn't be happier...love this cut. Slim but not skinny and will make a fantastic option along with my 17oz 888 natural indigo. Anyone on the fence about these because they are listed as a "super slim" need not worry, these aren't skinny jeans. I'm assuming that most of us who are dropping $350+ on a pair of jeans are old enough to be at a point in their lives where that cost wont wreck our finances. Which also means...especially for us Americans...our skinny body days are a distant memory. lol I am in my mid 50's and I'm 6' tall and weight 200-205lbs. These 36" size fit perfectly, plenty of room in the top with a narrow leg that looks perfectly natural and not skinny. I hope this helps anyone on the fence for this cut. Now I'm off to decide which cut to get my black jeans in...lol
I feel the same way... late 40's - 6'1" - 215lbs. I bought some 14oz 777's as my 1st IH's. Then got some 21oz 777's. Finally arrived at the 555 21oz and they are THE ONES. To anyone looking for Iron Heart's, I recommend the 21oz as your first. They do the "thing" and they are not nearly as stiff as some others for that weight at the start.

Found a tailor local to me and it's been fantastic. I keep telling her to charge more...
I really put thought into this taper due to her lack of a union special. Then I realized that was incredibly petty. She will eventually do this to all my 555's. And for $15 I can swing it lol

grabbed a new pair of 555 from @Iron-Heart-Germany . checked if they work with the Clinch and now I will send them back for hemming .
Thx Shane and Crew -
Fresh from UPS to New Zealand today, thanks Adam and IHUK.
Waist matches my actual and rest feels good, though when the knees and thigh fabric loosens they’ll be ever so slightly more good, better.
I wanted basically this exact look, not pencil or painted jeans so am glad I read through this whole 1500-odd post thread!

Posted these under another thread about jackets, thought best to park them here too.. 10 year old 21oz 555s. Had some repairs, new pockets, turn-ups and needing some attention to the crotch area.
