Can't tell you how much I appreciate the support, guys! I think I do a pretty good job of ignoring low-ball offers 99% of the time, but if occasionally I wake up on the wrong side of the bed and get salty about it, then sue me. And can't emphasize enough — it's never a person who regularly contributes to the community here that sends me a lame offer. As I say in the policy: you want a deal, be more than just a fly on the wall.

To clarify, he's selling a shirt for $60. I asked him if he would do it for $50.

I have had a bit of time to reflect on this situation and here are my thoughts:
No-one is in the right here and all of it could have been handled much differently. Personal disagreements should be handled between the parties behind the scenes in chat versus publicly for all to see. While coming to support for one user, it also fanned the flames of the disagreement. Please be cognizant of your posts and don't let situations like these get out of hand.
Low ball offers are part of the marketplace and almost expected, however, if a user has specifically posted that low-ball offers will be ignored don't make an offer.
Sometimes things work out in one's favour, and sometimes they don't.
We are all better than this and hope that everyone takes a minute or two to reflect.
I hope not to see these kind of posts again.
