Newly organised shoe storage in victorian original built in cabinet

little update after 3 weeks .
they starting to mould awesome
pretty unique how they evolve. first week they feel great to wear, than second week they feel a little strange as if they are too small and than in the third week they start to fit like a glove . neglecting my other boots cause they are so awesome to wear

@Bums_Fan Thanks for the information. Very cool boots. These old school construction methods are very time consuming compared to machine based (mass production) techniques like goodyear welt etc. If you ask me the prices seem very fair. Bespoke boots/shoes made with these techniques in the US/UK typically cost in the thousands, not in the hundreds.
(I was getting into boot-/shoemaking as an extension of my leatherwork hobby before I recently decided to go back to school. Too busy these days, but hope to get back to it some day)

Had these new Role Clubs for about a week now. Type two Engineers on the 1945 last. Handfinished Horsehide.

@jebrand
congratulations !
awesome boots and definitely on my want list
unfortunately it’s even harder than clinch to get them, at least for us here in europe.keep us updated how they evolve
-
@Daniel-San Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing how the hand finish evolves. This is my second pair of Role Clubs and the wait time was quite a bit shorter than I expected. Only three months this go around.
-
@Luijim78 looking good!

-
@Daniel-San He builds them according to your foot measurements. They are listed along with instructions on the boot order form on his website.
-
@jebrand
yes I understand that but how does it work with boots he has on stock ? -
@Daniel-San I would email him. I don't have any of his stock boots. I do see he says he verifies size after purchase. I'm guessing he will have you measure then recommend a size.
-
@jebrand
already mailed him and waiting for an answer.
But hoped for a faster answer for it -
@Daniel-San sorry wish I had an answer for you
-
@Daniel-San yes there should be a method of measuring the foot on the site, however if you contact Brian he will be happy to explain everything to you, he is truly a special guy, very nice and professional.
