Anyone out there have a tie-dye kit they can recommend? Looking for something quality that won't run or mess up other clothes in the wash, etc. I've got all these white band t-shirts I never wear...
-
Not sure if this has been asked before - I'm wondering about the choice to use a zipper fly on cargo pants vs. buttons. I'm generally not a fan of zippers because they bunch weird and won't stay up. Would enjoy hearing about the design choices begin when to use a zipper or button on IH pants.

@setandsetting I’ve heard really good things about Dharma Trading Co. I’ve never tried them myself though.

Between the IHM-34 and the IHM-38, which is the warmest?
-
@long_john86 I had the IHM-34 for a couple of years until i realised i got a size too big really and moved it on, i'd get another if i could.
To answer your question, the 34 is far warmer than the 38, heavy whipcord outer and blanket lined inside, it's a real beast. The 38 is a good bit thinner on the outer and the inner lining isn't quite so insulating as the blanket on the 34. I'd think of the 38 as more of a spring/autumn coat where the 34 is very much a winter coat.

@Ross cheers Ross, really appreciate that insight. Do you know if the 34 will be back at some point? Looking to size up
-
@long_john86 No plans at the moment, but thats not to say it wont ever be back - or something similar
-
@long_john86 What size are you looking for? Saw an XXXL ODG recently over here in Germany.

Hey All does anyone from the US have a carrier recommendation for international shipping; US to UK?
-
@tody Cheers mate. I have it in an XL but want to size up to XXL. Not bothered about colour. Maybe I should throw this out there on a WTT thread…
-
@flannel-slut ups express saver. DHL is usually cheaper but the documents are not as dummy friendly as UPS. I'm the dummy in this example not you.
-
@CosmoSix5 thank you for the chiming in! And a v valid consideration point in terms of documents
-
@flannel-slut be sure also to use Pirateship. com or another discount site.
-
@flannel-slut I usually do USPS.
-
@ROman thanks! Was thinking USPS for stateside mostly but I’ll try them for a quote too
-
@flannel-slut The only problem I’ve found with USPS on the receiving end is that parcels sometimes drop off if a cliff tracking wise once they reach the UK. ️
-
@flannel-slut fwiw I just used USPS for a return to the UK and it got there pretty quickly and without incident. I don’t think the tracking is as detailed though

I appreciate you chiming w your experiences! @SKT @Mister_Brue
