My 1991 R100 is back on the road after a 4 year hiatus. Most of the work done was cosmetic: paint, polish, clean and lube plastics and upholstery. She looks like she shed 20 years.
Figure an Irish pub is a good place to celebrate her new stage in life.
Strange knocking sounds coming from the clutch area once the clutch handle is depressed…noisier the higher the rpms. Yet to be investigated. -
She looks absolutely stunning @motojobobo

198 mile ride for breakfast -
Cold af in Jersey, had to break out the full face and M-65 Field Jacket. Immediately purchased some black friday winter gloves when I got home 🥶

@Denimhead-0 yeah I was frozen today too. Riding though the mountains was pretty as hell but I couldn’t move my hands when we stopped haha
-
@Choko Thats a long ass breakfast ride, pretty jealous
-
@Denimhead-0 by the time we got there I was so hungry so it made the food taste better. My hands were tingling for a while though. You can’t beat Arizona riding!

@Denimhead-0 Would you ever consider getting a windshield? I used to ride all winter long with the Motorcycle Polar Bears. A lot of the guys had heated gear, which they loved. I found that a scarf was a big help, and I always thought that the most important thing was to keep your chest warm. The school of thought was that if your chest was warm more blood would get to your extremities. Not sure if that’s true. Still no way I could’ve done it without a windshield.

@Jett129 I have one, I need to dig out of the basement. It’s going on soon.
