IHSH-227-IND - 12oz Wabash CPO Shirt - Indigo

Well, was worried I would miss up but ordered on the button. Surprised these are still left though but happy.

Can't resist an IH CPO, damn things are my kryptonite. Ordered.

I want to take just a second to thank @SamD for teaching me how to properly say Wabash in his restocks shorts.
I always said wàh-baush. Whaa-bash is much better and so it's how I'm saying it. Trying not to add the accent but it's 50/50. -
@CosmoSix5 Ha ha, thanks! Although, I have wondered sometimes myself if I'm pronouncing it correctly...

In ordered an XXL. XL fits a little tight but leaves no room for shrinkage if and when I wash it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with an XXL that will be bigger across the chest and longer in the arms in order to get a better fit?
-
@Iammalone you can get shrinkage out of this fabric if you need to, so get the larger size and wash to shrink. Start at 30C, if you dont get enough shrinkage move to 40C and carry on as such
-
@Alex thank you. Should I wash it @ 30 and then use a drier for :20 min etc? Is this the process?
-
@Iammalone
I wouldn’t use a dryer at all , just hang and let it dry.
before washing turn inside out and soak it until it’s fully wet.
no spin cycle if possible, if not choose the lowest possible.
if a 30 degree wash didn’t shrink it enough, than go for a 40 degree wash , if it’s still not enough than go for a 60 degree. -
@Iammalone I got some shrink in my western shirt, see here

What size do you guys recommend for 12 oz Wabash western shirt, Im 6’4, 230lbs? XXL or XXXL
Thank you -
@Bane Do you already have a different IH shirt? If so, what size did you take? If not, measure a shirt that fits you good and see where you come up sizewise.
As this is a CPO shirt, you will need to make a decision whether you want to wear it as a slim fitting shirt or a wider layering piece you can wear over a hoodie. -

Thank youI'm 6'4 and 200 lbs and normally wear a XXL in Western cuts and an XL in Work cuts. Really though, you need to have a good idea of what your measurements are and what you like -- even then you cant just go off the tag size. One western shirt may have a 47" chest in XXL and another may have closer to a 49" chest.
I will say though, even though I normally buy XXL's, in most cases I could probably get away with XL. I like to have a little bit of extra room -- and since I hope for these to be "Heirloom Pieces" I have a little bit of extra room for growth as I get older.
Best bet is to take a shirt you already have that you really like the fit of and measure it out.
