I have just got my new samurai denim hat.

@Mizmazzle Ironheart and Beatle Busters
-
@Mizmazzle Yes…and very desirable for some of us. Ticks a lot of the boxes (Beatle Busters, UHR - OG, not a lot of them made, and very few in mint/new condition)

@Mizmazzle Yes Beatle was a member here and the Buster was something that I believe she was instrumental in the design of. There are pictures of many of the old crew (original forum members) all visiting Japan together with @Giles.
I believe some of the group still communicate via outside (non forum) connections occasionally.

Here’s a link to the Jeans https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/4461/ihxb01xuhr-ultra-heavy-raw-beatle-busters
Edit: This is the first reference to UHR’s that I can find: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/2971/ultra-heavy-raw-ih-1955-uhr-ih-666-uhr-and-ih-634-uhr?_=1735870788732
So the Beatle Busters were not in the original releases of UHR Jeans.

@Giles First reference I can find of the Beatle Busters were 2010… https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/434/ihxb01-beatle-buster-21oz-japanese-selvage-denim-indigo

Well discussed guys. IHXB01 was the first go at a slimmer fit. They pre date the 666 by a little. They were ultimately discontinued because they were only marginally slimmer than the 634 and the subsequent slim fits presented more noticeably different silhouettes.
That said, the subtle difference in fit makes
it my absolute favorite. They also have a hidden pocket knife pocket inside the left front pocket which is cool. My 3rd pair ever were 21 oz Busters and I still wear them. Just had them repaired a bit at the last party. The XHS and UHR versions were limited. There’s also 18 Raw which I’m also lucky enough to have, SBG which I had and sold and a Triple Works version in a light weight light blue denim that I would love to find.Beatle moved on to a post forum life and I hope she’s well. Would love it if she stopped by to say hi sometime. Her fit pics are among my favorites of all time, much like her namesake jeans.

@Matt thanks Matt. I appreciate all those cool bits of the story. Sounds like it was great run with a wonderful cut.
I was really curious about the person herself and how she came to find herself developing her own cut. Did she have some background in design? Just an all around rad person with amazing style deserving of her own collab?
I’m always curious about the people themselves and how they came to connect with the brand and leave such a cool legacy.
