@FlavourFade
crazy , that just around the corner -
@Daniel-San I may post something in the spirits thread later. Prost!
-
@Tago-Mago always when I go to my local hol ab there's a car with Ganderkesee license plate speeding off....
-
@Daniel-San yeah what a coincidence
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot
it’s E , noticed today when first wearing them . it’s stamped inside.
@flannel-slut
laces can be shorter, as I said I choose the same length than the original leather ones .
Guess 170 instead of 180cm will work too.@Mizmazzle
sorry mate , didn’t managed to make pics. Had to work longer and back home the christmas stress started
but I can tell you that the first day wearing them was awesome. the leather is so soft that they feel very comfortable from the start. I would even say that they need no real break in . the footbed and soles of course, but the shaft is perfect from the beginning.
So be ready for some sensational boots -
@Mizmazzle they are beautiful my friend , congratulations you received a wonderful gift
-
this shika grain is unbelievable beautiful
-
@Mizmazzle wow, that’s some gift.
-
@Mizmazzle wow these are stunning! Thrilled for some fit pics. How does the leather feel compared to the natural cxl?
-
@Mizmazzle sooooo nice boi! Looking forward to some evo pics down the road of this leather.
@Daniel-San 10 out of 10 (and those laces appear the perfect length I’ll be following your lead with some pisgah gator or emerald greens)
-
@flannel-slut
the laces I bought are too long , thought I mentioned it it’s not a big thing cause they are not visible. though I ordered some shorter ones from Plisgah in red and black. The only suitable color available in the right length here in Germany.
will you get the shika donkeys too ?this is how it looks now with the too long laces
-
@Daniel-San I did! Pre-ordered back around Spring and your recent picks are only confirming these are SPECIAL. PS I personally like the length of em
-
@FlavourFade this leather is a bit stiffer out of the box. It’s a veg tan so stiffer and not as oily as the CXL. I actually thought I might need to size up when I first tried them on. But after about 30 minutes of wear the leather broke a lot of its stiffness. Really excited to see how this leather evos!
-
@flannel-slut
that’s awesome cool that I‘am not the only one that has them.
Any idea when you get them ?
where did you order ?new laces just arrived
looking awesome little shiny
-
@Mizmazzle
I had the Lofgren engineers in both leather , the badalassi and cxl and the badalassi where much softer and immediately comfortable .
and the shinki are the toughest, they really needed a break in.
sold them to the heavy b motherf….who still owes me money / cpo shirt -
@Daniel-San oh interesting. For me it was the opposite. My CXL leather was softer and the volume of the boot was larger. I had to put an insert in them to take up some space because they were so floppy.
My Badalassi in the same size were stiffer. But only for a short time. But they have way less volume and zero slip at all. They fit perfectly after walking in them for about 30 minutes.
That sucks so bad about the being owed money BS.

@Daniel-San ordered them from Standard and Strange and eta this Spring. These are the laces I’m mulling over in my cart:
-
And are the new laces you got 68”? And assuming the purples are 72”? If so, gonna need another laces pick of the new ones 🫵
