@jiminstitches do I remember correctly, the your natural leather jacket was from Aero? The Highwayman, right?
I've not been able to shake my desire for similar from my head since seeing your pics, so have just messaged Aero about sizing on their Montgomery model.
Looking at this in Unfinished Horsehide;
Very similar to the Highwayman, but I love those unconcealed front pockets.

@T4920 a bit, it’s such a heavy jacket so it’s too warm for it at the moment, But as soon as Autumn comes it’s all I’ll be wearing!

I've been eyeing leather jackets too. Really like the aero hooch hauler. Schott tells me "this style won't work with you" when I enter my body specs. When I adjust my height down an inch I'm a XL lol. Considering the IH/Simmons Tailgunner but it's $$ and a few months off.

That's going to be so nice! I've been eyeing that jacket style for awhile. They don't seem to come up used very often, so it's been a battle of patience for me. Please share some photos when it arrives!

@goosehd direct from them in Scotland. The jacket exchange/try-on was the deal breaker. My quality clothing renaissance has made me a pretty accurate measurer-er? And I'll be sending them pics. looking forward to the process now that my payment and bank have finally agreed with each other. Lots of "fraud" emails. Is this really you texts lol

@goosehd I found it easiest to work with Aero directly. Carrie / Thurston just added time / cost to the process for me. A lot of time.

I'm very excited to get my Hooch Hauler in a month or so. I changed the thread via email last week and was told there could be no more changes. Hoping that is a good sign.

Indeed. I've had several "custom" items made for me. Aero and Simmons Bilt both have been over and above any of the boots I've done. Very kind and helpful. Deborah from SB is in process of shipping me leather samples atm. Crazy cool

@bigwaterbobby that's awesome. Sadly my size makes second hand a rare luxury. Without almost 2 inches length in the sleeves and body they're unwearable for me. The clincher for me with the hooch hauler was the back design and button cuffs. Can't wait! Badalassi Russet with cream stitching. Basically stole Dales Leather works on YouTube's jacket.
