These Boncoura hoodies are made of a custom developed 20.5oz loopwheeled fleece. One of their standout features is the hood, designed with a unique structure that naturally stands upright when worn. This thoughtful design keeps the neckline clean and adds a refined touch to an otherwise casual basic hoodie. The silhouette offers just the right amount of room, maintaining a relaxed fit without looking sloppy. The loopwheel fleece fabric crafted by BONCOURA is made using vintage loopwheel knitting machines. These machines operate slowly and gently, placing minimal stress on the yarn to preserve its natural softness and texture. This meticulous process results in a fabric that is soft, smooth, and full of character, offering a rich and refined hand feel. By avoiding undue tension on the yarn, the fabric retains its shape over years of wear and preserves its unique texture, even after repeated washing.

Merz b. Schwanen vintage jersey knitting machine tees are finally here! This a new model knit on a knitting machine from the 1960’s, still produced in their own factory in Germany. These tees are the vintage knitting machine version of the iconic 215 loopwheeled t-shirt; these are a hair lighter in weight and have side seams compared to the 215 t-shirt. These are available now in black and white.

We've also received large restocks of every in-line color of their 215 Heavyweight and 2S14 Super Heavyweight tees. Now at all six of our stores.

STUDIO D'ARTISAN ANNIVERSARY EDITION SHIRTS & JEANS

Some real heaters this week from Studio D'Artisan, O△X, & Orgueil.

We have indigo-dyed dobby work shirts in both dark indigo and a washed version from Studio D'Artisan along with their new Extreme Slub natural indigo dyed jeans. We also have a beautiful mud-overdyed Amami-Dorozome shirt from their 45th anniversary collection.

From SDA's boundary-pushing line, O△X, we have Haori jackets made of a Lyocell Tencel Fabric Outer Shell which have been hard washed post construction for a lived-in feel and look.

From SDA's menswear line, Orgueil, we have piece dip-dyed narrow harness leather belts, available in two colors, good for those wanting a sturdy heavy leather belt in a slightly narrower design compared to the rest of the belts we stock.

NEW STEVENSON OVERALL CO. COLLECTION

A new collection from Stevenson Overall Co. is here.

First up, their Absolutely Amazing merino wool thermal shirts are back, available in new colors, and now available up to size XXXL! Anyone who's been following Self Edge for a while knows that this is one of the top ten things we've ever carried, and we have Stevenson Overall make them for us every year or two in new colors. These are made of a Japanese spun certified mulesing-free fine merino wool, they’re extremely soft and can be worn in both cold and somewhat warm climates due to the natural temperature regulating properties of merino wool.

We also have crew neck sweaters featuring a vivid Nordic pattern, combining a chunky texture with a versatile silhouette. The wool used is spun to be lightweight and air-filled, aka Lofty High-Loft Wool, providing high insulation. Each strand has an air layer, offering both warmth and a unique, vibrant texture.

With the Maverick jacket SOC have reimagined the third generation of the denim jacket; this unique design features front pleats for mobility and flap pockets. The front yoke line forms a subtle V-shape toward the center and is complemented by the shape of the pockets. The jacket is made of an original SOC developed sanforized (but raw) 14.5oz selvedge denim, is rope-dyed with slub yarns, and woven on vintage shuttle looms.

We also have new Cody shirts and restocks of previous versions, Encinitas jeans in indigo and black, and their Athletic socks in three colors.

SELF EDGE X HTC HAND-MADE STUDDED SKINNY BELTS

Self Edge x HTC “skinny” belts are here.

These are two new in-house designed models made of a narrower leather compared to the normal 1.75” wide belts we carry. These are made of a black cowhide with black burnished edges and finished with hand applied oxidized nickel studs and a nickel plated steel buckle.

NEW SAMURAI JEANS, CHINOS, AND BAKER PANTS

We've just received the new Samurai S3100VX jean in a relaxed straight fit from the World War II era, made of their famed 17oz Zero+ denim. The silhouette is a new one based on their WWII model S3000VX, with a slightly longer rise and a slightly wider top block. The buttons are newly created to mimic the color of "shakudo" metal with a well-worn black finish, which has been used for weapons and ornaments in Japan since ancient times. As the buttons age over time the luster settles and a beautiful patina starts to appear, and the pocket bags are made of 8 oz. slub yarn denim which is heavier duty compared to conventional pocket bag materials.

We also have 19oz Kiwami denim jeans in a slim tapered fit, 15oz selvedge chino cloth pants, their very popular Baker pants in both olive and black, and striped athletic socks in two colors.

WERKSTATT MÜNCHEN SPRING COLLECTION

Werkstatt München’s new spring collection is here!

We’re happy to announce we’ve received our second collection from Germany’s Werkstatt München. This is a line we’ve been quite familiar with for twenty years, introduced at our stores last year, and are excited to expand our offerings from them this season. The collection is produced in Werkstatt’s own studio in Munich Germany out of .925 sterling silver, complete with in-house designed and produced clasps.

We have new Squeezed Link necklaces, Long Link Curb Chain bracelets, Hammered Signet rings, and a really nice Hammered Wound ring.

DEVOA COWHIDE SNEAKERS & HIGH-TWIST YARN SWEATERS

Devoa’s new DIVINATION sneakers are here and they look and feel super nice. These are made of a top-grain cowhide which has been aniline dyed and the sneakers are finished with a vulcanized Vibram sawtooth sole and a fine-knit shaft opening.

We've also received their TIMEBOX sweaters. These are made by a custom developed knit by Devoa’s head designer, Daisuke Nishida, and finished with hand stitched accents. These are really beautiful, and they’re available now at all six of our stores.

NEFF GOLDSMITH RESTOCK - STRANGE & INTERESTING JEWELRY

We've just received a very large restock of Neff Goldsmith's entire line of sterling silver and gold jewelry. We absolutely love jewelry and have slowly expanded our jewelry selection at our stores over the past couple of years. Neff Goldsmith is a jewelry line made by an extremely talented jeweler and maser setter by the name of Chris Neff. ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chris' inspirations come from his deep understanding of the heritage of jewelry and vintage silversmithing. All pieces are made in-house at his own foundry out of sterling silver with many pieces having 18k yellow gold accents. His detail and milgrain work is unlike anything we've ever seen and he's got some interesting twists on classic signet rings, band rings, pendants, and necklaces. ⠀⠀⠀

STUDIO D'ARTISAN EXTREME & NATURAL INDIGO DENIM JEANS

EXTREME DENIM ALERT ⠀

Studio D’Artisan has been killing it lately on every front. Their fabric development has reached new heights these past few seasons. Really great to see a line pushing like this after being around for 46 years. This week we’ve received these new Kakishibu denim jeans made of a 16oz mixed slub yarn denim with a persimmon dyed warp and natural weft. Truly beautiful denim from these Japanese natural dye specialists. These come in a straight leg fit and come factory rinsed for easier sizing.

We also have natural indigo dyed jeans this week. Studio D'Artisan knows their way around the finer details of working with natural indigo, so it's no surprise that their new SD-808 jean is made of such a beautiful fabric. This new denim is slightly hairy when new, has a light slub character due to the medium staple cotton used, and has been rope-dyed meaning it will age in a slightly more dramatic way compared to many other natural indigo dyed denim fabrics. These come in a straight tapered fit with a medium rise and the jean is finished with herringbone twill pocket bags.
