@Oaktavia there’s a lot going on… maybe too much sometimes
-
Yea super functional and strong, yet aesthetically pleasing…
I was talking to Mike about them when I was there and he said he’s considering having a bunch of the pins (male end) made and offering just those for people who want to be able to swap keys on and off their ring easily.
-
I bought three of these keychains for exactly this reason.
Would be much better if I could just buy a bunch of pin-end pieces. Next time you're with Mike, please do mention that at least one other person is interested in this option.
-
@chadstone30
I will for sure! -
I like to take just my car key with me onto the job site at work. I was in the market for a mechanism like this at the same time they were announced.
It works perfect.
-
So handy for my bulky key. Hope additional male ends are offered
-
Anyone have a Townes shirt and can comment on it? Look nice but I guess also all sold out. Maybe you have to wait for drop?
-
@natefreezy I’ve never tried one. But yes they release versions of their Townes short throughout the year.
Also, they just teased copper key doodads, if anyone has a proclivity for other metals.

Can you elaborate on what you heard about the copper key doodads? I am a big fan of copper doodads.

I have the Sashiko ori and waiting for the striped one to deliver tomorrow. I love the Sashiko version. It’s a little on the long side, I did shrink it following his directions and it definitely shrunk but either way I wear it almost daily it’s super comfortable and well made
-
@natefreezy I've got the denim one from 4 or 5 years ago and love it - so much so that I have scared a fair amount of indigo off it....

I especially appreciate the way they have added a strip of fabric along the hem to prevent it from curling up
Pretty sure @Brock has at least one and his dad had the killer black broken twill one from farther back -

Nice let me know how you like the striped one. They look nice. Also wonder about length, generally don’t like shirts that are too long.
-
@natefreezy great shirt, but feels to long. i'm usually a large in IH westerns and this is a medium. I'm not sure if it's my kind of fit. I can't shrink this one or it won't fit in the other dimensions.
-
@bluemantra Yeah I have to shrink my L IH denim shirts a little to get the fit I like, especially to lose a little length. Fit looks good overall but yeah it is long.
-
@bluemantra for what it’s worth, I used to prefer a shorter length but have really warmed up to a longer length of late. So much so that I find myself preferring a longer length and find my shorter shirts now look a little off. I guess what I’m getting at is, unless a piece is restrictive, you very well may find something you once thought fit well no longer looks right and vice versa. I dig the fit and will only look better once broken in.
-
Undoing the bottom snap would make a big difference, imo.
-
@bluemantra as the others have said I think it still looks solid, a little long, but I too prefer the longer length for the most part now. also helps it to be able to be worn more as an overshirt if you want. These pictures are making me really excited for mine being out for delivery
-
thanks all. you make good points that it is just different than what i'm used to wearing. I think I will give this a chance. It's very crisp and stiff new.
In measuring the back length is not that different than some of my IH shirts, but I think the difference is on the IH shorts the front is a little shorter and the SJ is equally long in the back and front.
-
The towns is always a little long… it’s just something to get used to. The jacquard looks awesome on you! @bluemantra
