IHJ-145-BLK - 7oz Rubber Wax Coated Windbreaker - Black

Designed to offer motorcyclists enhanced protection against the elements, this mid-length windbreaker jacket is cut from a dense 7oz plain weave cotton cloth and treated with a latex rubber coating. Known in Japan as “Weather” fabric, this robust canvas is woven with uneven weft yarns, providing excellent durability and wind resistance while remaining lighter than a traditional duck weave. The coating—a blend of resin and latex rubber wax—not only significantly improves water repellency and wind resistance, but also adds a slight sheen and a smoother hand feel. Based on our classic windbreaker cut, this unique jacket is finished with an elasticated ribbed collar and cuffs, a two-way zipper, and is subtly finished with a tonal Iron Heart chest print.

Pieces like these really make me wish I lived near a stockist. Very curious of the drape and hand feel of this rubber wax coating. I would be a crucified slut if were to buy another jacket this month but the fanboy in me knows iron heart fabrics are not to be underestimated and would love to cop a feel.
