IHJ-146-IND - 10oz Nep Denim Windbreaker - Indigo
Reminiscent of vintage 1950s-style denim, the 10oz fabric used for this windbreaker jacket features a character-filled “neppy” finish. This distinctive texture is created through a slow weaving process using short-fibre yarns, resulting in cotton “neps” that protrude from the fabric's surface. Adding to the unique nature of the denim, the uneven warp yarns are rope-dyed indigo, while the weft yarns are reactive-dyed to impart a very subtle light blue tinge to the reverse side of the weave. Based on our classic windbreaker cut, other features of this jacket include an elasticated ribbed collar and cuffs, a two-way zipper, with a classic Iron Heart chest print complementing the retro vibe of the denim.

The fit on this looked "different" when it was tried on. Very billowy at the hem. Was it simply to big for him or is this a design? Wish it had print on the back as well! However Haraki knows what he's doing so I'll relent now

@Bailey looks great man, what size are you wearing?
Edit: thanks for the below

@DeeDee85 I'm quite often surprised by what sells quickly and what doesn't. (For instance XHSbb ending up in the outlet still boggles the mind).
Very cool jacket, congrats!

@JunkPants me too, I get that predicting what will do well is almost impossible but I can’t help but wonder how much better this would have done with a thread documenting the progress of a well worn sample?
And thank you very much, can’t wait to see it!

You may well be right, but windbreakers typically are way less popular than other jackets, so the sell through of this does not overly surprise me. Further, we struggle to sell branded goods as well as unbranded ones, always. T-shirts, jackets, you name it - if it has a print, its slower than if it does not.

@Alex makes sense, I’ve only recently realised myself how great the windbreakers are. I’d be ordering the 7oz rubber wax one too if I had the funds, I may still at some point if there’s still stock in a few weeks.
Can understand your point with the branding too, I’d have more than likely skipped this one if it had large rear branding.
The weathered small chest logo, a new denim, summer weight, I think it’s perfect, just hope it fits now!
