@abw:
So, after having worn my IH-9526J extensively through four seasons of Norwegian costal weather, I just went ahead and ordered one of these bad boys. Really looking forward to receiving it.
Strange how clothes can be this exciting.
Evo photos in the IH-9526J ASAP!!! Please?

Hey everyone, first post.
I just went ahead and ordered an XL. I've been drooling over this jacket before I even got my first pair of IH jeans. Having now lived in the jeans (IH634s) for the last four months, I'm even more excited about the jacket knowing how well these jeans are made.
I am slightly concerned about the sleeve length. I'm 42" in the chest, but only 5'10". Hopefully the sleeves won't be ridiculous. I already asked G about the fit, and PM'd some of you, I guess I'll see when it arrives.

Congrats Paul, you are going to love it! Just returned your PM. Sorry for the delay.

Finally got to try this jacket on (arrived on Thursday).
I don't have anything to add to the great things people wrote about the construction and look and feel. Though I will say that for a rough & tough jacket, I'm pretty amazed with how buttery smooth the zippers glide over their tracks
I'm 5'10, 42-43" in the chest, so I ordered the XL. I was surprised to find that the sleeves weren't as terribly long as I had expected. Even so, I'm doing DrPat's cuff-the-sleeves trick.
I think I sized right. It's a tad tight in the chest when I zip it up all of the way, if I stick my chest out, but I plan on wearing it unzipped most if not all of the time.
Anyhow, here are some fit pics. Please ignore the ugly mug

God you got the 801s as well?.. Those are so fecking brilliant… If you get 'm hemmed: go with your perfect/ regular inseam length + 0.5".
Yep! I gotta say, I love them already! When I first tried them on I was thinking "Oh man, these are waaay too baggy". But then I cuffed the leg up a bit, looked in the mirror and thought "Hey! These look awesome!"
Thanks for the tip on the cuffage. I want there to be some stacking at the bottom so I won't hem them too short. They look great with my red wing 877's.

Are these warm enough to be worn in winter??
