That Bad Manners is so fun.
-
This is to effectively cancel out the Bonnie Rait I posted in the other thread.
-
I'd rate this BANGER/10
Even better

One day I'll form a band and we'll be called Cat-freak SS

One for you sentimental and introspective stoner types:

Such a great record @Filthy
I've really been digging on what Grime Stone Records has been putting out this year.
This one in particular is a really well played black metal record, but the band commits to the bit and it's silly as hell. As one of my friends said, "the horns go toot." Lots of melodrama
-
Here's something nobody will dare listen to. I am super pissed off right now so I find comfort in the guteral vocals and anger

I've started to listen to rock music i was 12yo : Nirvana, Sum 41, Blink 182, The Offspring, then at 15yo i bought the album "Iron Maiden - Powerslave" from the father of a friend at a garage sale just because the cover was cool, and i absolutely loved that album, my friends used to listen to Korn, Slipknot, it was not my kind, too noisy and messy for me, i just couldnt understand the goal with listening to stuff like that, my ears were not made and used for that… And at 17-18yo i discovered the OST for the video game "Guilty Gear X" and it was a revelation, i've never loved something metal much than the OSTs for this series of game, it had the effect of a spell cast on my ears, after that i could enjoy every type of metal from heavy to doom, death, black, powermetal...
Guilty Gear X - Holy orders :
Kvelertak - Blodtorst
Lord of the lost, this band has always cool videos
PowerWolf - Resurrection by erection :
Saturnus - Pretend :
Funny thing, i was 5 years ago i think in Berlin for a tattoo appointment (I'm French), i was at the hotel watching TV at night, exploring the German channels, and there was that ad for the new metal album of "Heino"… Never heard of him but the music was kind of cool, few research after, that guy was very old, like a GranPa making Folkloric German music for decades and he just released a metal album of his greatest hits
Heino - Schwarz bluht der enzian
here is the original version as a comparison (just the chorus is recognisable i think)

ahhh A gentle one from my youth - still have the LP
