God, the 2nd half of this is amazing. One of my all-time favorites

Doom has had a few singers and the Tom Croft is definitely my favorite. This is probably my favorite vocal performance from him.

Happy American Thanksgiving everyone!!

I always like the riff in this song and thought it sounded more like a hair metal song. I guess they were a hair metal band before they became a grunge band and it shows.
In honor of my birthday

I love these songs

It's hard for me to recommend this for anyone who's not in the throngs of anxiety and self-loathing
But I sure do enjoy it a ton and I love how as an architectural feature of this crypt on the cover seems to depict the light of Jesus cutting an angle of light into the piles of skeletons. I am sure this is what the people who made that crypt had intended, as a profund expression of grief during the black plague as some source of hope.

I love everything about this, but especially the awesome bass and crazy guitar solos

Saw Tool live on Tuesday at the Tacoma Dome. As usual the performance was incredible. Maynard, vocally, sounded especially strong this show as compared to the prior Tool shows I've seen over the past 10-12 years.
Was also my favorite setlist of any of their shows I've been to.
Setlist:
Fear Inoculum
Opiate
The Pot
Pushit
Pneuma
The Grudge
Right in Two
Hooker With a Penis
Descending
Chocolate Chip Trip
The Patient
Invincible
