WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
@Max:
Was trying to rearrange my records (unfortunately I have the record player only for two years, but still I forget some records in the shelf)…But there's no real progress I fear. If you're bored - who guesses more than 25 records?Nice stuff!!! Descendents, OFF, Bad Religion… I have them too
-
You're good mates! Yes, Baroness's Blue Record & Red Album are in the Metal Pile with Mastodon and Red Fang (and Motörhead of course). Wolfbrigade (I am seeing them next friday) and Souljazz' 200% have been spotted correctly. And the relevant Bad Religion Albums (How could Hell be any worse to Against the Grain) are also correct. I have a dram on you Cheers!

WOLFBRIGADE's "In darkness you feel no regret is better than "Comalive"…
Now come on, I'm sure we've been through this before….
@Max:
Wolfbrigade (I am seeing them next friday)
excellent!

^^ yeah, G'N'r was the first Rock band I loved - at the age of 8 (1992). I was glad when I got the Vinyl with the uncensored Cover. Regarding Wolfbrigade - I love all their stuff, also the old Wolfpack songs. Damned is a very good record, better than Comalive IMO.
Back on topic - what I also did today.

So today the temperature in Houston finally dropped into a comfortable zone. We decided to relax a little out in our back yard and enjoy being outside without sweating profusely. It would have been a great time for the kids to play on the spiffy new play set that I spent two day assembling. But no, the ladder, slide, sandbox and two tons of bouncy rubber mulch are not compelling.
What is, you ask? Gravel. A fence.
Sticks.
Oh well, as long as they’re happy and (reasonably) quiet. I took the time to finish reading The Name Of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Not bad. I’ll be interested to see how things progress in the second book.
Oh yeah, and I was wearing this:

Went to a Mag party last night. I do a lot of work for them. The opening party had 8ft prints of some of their favorite images. Pretty epic.
