IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
the 292 was not enough just ordered this killer shirt too
-
Have to have them both! Been wearing my 293-OD and just got in trouble for turning the white granite countertops in our house blue
-
You won't regret having both... Got the 292 last year and bought the 293 last month... Amazing shirts

First in the large size for me, all other tops are medium. The hint in the sizing section was indeed spot on. The fabric is stunning, and I can't imagine how it will actually develop - so many shades should appear.
Somewhere I have seen people claiming that the OD stuff does not bleed. Thats not seem to be my experience. It does bleed but on a different scale compared to just Indigo. -
Hello all, my shirt is out for delivery, so excited.
After reading all the post I’m a little worried it will be to small, I requested the biggest 4X they had so I’ve got that going for me. Thanks Graham!! Question, do I wear it and never wash it? -

Not if you want to keep any friends

Hahaha.

Thank you!

The OD process takes out all the shrink. As long as you want to keep it, wash all you want.
I wish they developed a method to take out all the stink
Oh wait, the next sentence takes care of that. -

@Bigdog nailed it man. Congrats. I hope it fits you well. It sure looks like it does.
-
@Autorotate thanks! feels a little tight in the chest but it’s already losing up.
-
Looks good on you, @Bigdog. Glad to hear it's loosening a bit. Nice looking pup in your avatar, too.
-
to add a data point for anyone, mine's relaxing nicely. Loosening might be the wrong characterization as measurements seem to be exactly what they were when I got the shirt. It was borderline uncomfortable around the torso and arm holes when sitting down but now the fabric knows where to fold and drapes much more naturally so it isn't constricting anymore. Hopefully this clarification could help anyone getting this shirt new and struggling with the fit. As is typically suggested with bottoms, focus on the measurements and give it some time. Definitely glad now I stuck with the Large.

@pechelman Agree...."relaxation" of the folds and creases of the 18 oz. fabric is probably a better way to describe what happens as you wear it in...

Any body get sore elbows (inside of arm) during the break in? I sure do. But the break-in process is well on its way.
