I prefer 3D games actually. I’m more of a first person shooter fan than anything but the Switch isn’t really known for that. Just looking for something challenging but fun

Anyone else own a Switch? I'm looking for game recommendations that aren't specifically aimed at kids. My son has been playing Minecraft a ton but it's not my cuppa tea. I also own Super Mario Bros U which is fun, but I already beat the game. I've been eyeballing Doom and Wolfenstien II but don't know how they rate on the Switch Lite console. I like the Zelda games but don't think I can be bothered with it this time.
i had a games night with a couple of close mates the other night. super mario party was an absolute blast. it's definitely not aimed at kids considering i had a ball of a time.. usually i'm shit at the mario games, so for me to have fun with this is shocking..

I never was a FALLOUT lad until I played OUTER WORLDS… I knew FALLOUT 3 was amazeballs but it's a PS3 game... I heard FALLOUT 76 kinda sucked monkeyballs...
Anyway: my brother slipped me his copy of FALLOUT 4... About 5 hours in... I reckon I'll be good til the end of summer... This is 100% my kinda game... It's why I gave up on MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD... Cause once I realised what the game was about, I knew I was never gonna enjoy it... Too bad...
Maybe we should start a trading games thing... I have so many games that will be shelved for Santa Clause knows how long...
Here goes: if anyone based in €urope, wants to receive a list of PS4 games I have for hire, free of charge (I'll even ship 'm for free), hit me up…

i've just finished rdr2 as well, including the epilogue with john marston. i've gotta admit, i was really invested in arthur's storyline. kinda felt there was so much more to be explored. now i've never played rdr 1. and i thought it might be interesting to see if i can find the game to play it on my old ps3. will be interesting completing the game in the true chronological timeline of events.
Don't forget to pick up his god-dang gun…
damn, whose gun?!?! what did i miss?

I've been playing Doom non-stop and it's super fun. There were a few annoying glitches but overall it's challenging, the levels take a long time to complete and the graphics are excellent. Think I might have to buy the Wolfenstein II New Colossus game as well. Also installed a 256 GB microsd card in the Switch so now I have ample storage.

RDR (1) is a masterpiece as well…
I meant Micah's gun... The one he almost had you killed over in Valentine... The piece of shit...
huh i never realised that you could pick it up… or maybe i have... swore it went straight to a cutscene and credits.. might have to check again as i saved and stopped playing right after credits ended.
As a PC player I would welcome a remake of rdr 1 (which was never released on pc) for the pc with the rdr 2 graphics engine and references to Arthur and rdr2.
But that is just wishful thinking.

i've heard they're gonna do an rdr3. i wonder where they could go with the story line. seems well over after rdr1, maybe they could do a sadie adler spin off. gosh she's really fit

If you stopped playing after the credits, then that means you never played the epilogue with John?.. Yeah: time for you to return to that game!..
no, the credits come on after the epilogue..

mm. i'm more about the evans repeater. it has a greater firing rate to make up for my lack of skills using analog sticks. one of the main reason i don't play COD a games and the likes..
